Chapter 23

  The Morning rays dawning on my face complemented with the chirping of birds gently woke me from my beautiful sleep. For the first time in days, I actually enjoyed my sleep thanks to my affectionate Alpha. 

    My eyes opened abruptly when I couldn't feel his warmth nor his touch over me again. Only his scent remained on the bedsheets. A part of me had wished his arms were still curled around my waist while I woke up to his steely chest. 

   I alighted from the bed, thinking about my work in Greenville High. One Kevin had relieved me of. To be honest, my body wasn't inclined towards boring school files too. I rather dreamed to spend time with my mate.
