Elijah was done teaching his third class as a substitute teacher and he was heading to the other building of the school where the high schoolers learned.

He needed to see his brothers to know how they were doing; he could take it even though it was breaking him bit by bit as the minutes turned to hours and the hours turned to days but he wasn’t sure his brothers could.

The news of their parent's disappearance was a hard pill for him and his brothers to swallow and with every day that went by, the realization that something must have happened to them was becoming clearer and clearer to each of them.
