Chapter 49

Annable’s Pov.

Washing my dirty plates after fighting with Mira and some of the other maids who wanted to do my dishes for me like I was handicapped, I kissed every single one of them goodbye and headed upstairs to my room to crosscheck the emails Hunter's secretary, Emma had sent me since this morning when I was still in school.

In the Emails, she had listed out a bunch of documents I needed to grab from her office and Hunter’s before I and Hunter flew out to whatever state or country his business trip was being held in.

And although after eating the delicious dish of catfish pepper-soup served alongside mashed ripe plantains and pineapple juice Hunter served me, added with the fact that I had a stressful day at school, I was just so exhausted and lazy that I wanted to straight up fall asleep and wake up the next morning.

But just so I don’t get found wanting by Hunter tomorrow morning, I decided to ignore my tired bones and just write everything Emma had sent me in a small jotter
