Annable’s Pov.

7:40 am, I am prepared and waiting for my boss to climb downstairs with a cold glare in his eyes. How I managed to finish twenty minutes before the time is still very surprising because I had given up hope of ever making it in time. Thankfully, I made good use of the free minutes to gobble up some omelets and orange juice before I heard his footsteps approaching.

I straightened up when I saw Hunter’s tall figure come into view as he began to climb down the stairs, he looked very handsome and charismatic in his brown suit and surprisingly his face carried a glow that I don’t remember ever seeing before. It was like he was trying to elevate his usual boring look by unbuttoning the first two buttons of his milk shirt and even going as far as changing his signature hairstyle.
