LOGINWithout any hesitation, she opened her mouth and answered, “Just tell me what it is. I will do it as long as I can become strong!” with determination and firmness in her tone.
In order to avenge herself against Hilary, Veda and that pack. She could do anything.
“Good! It’s actually very simple, you only need to ………………………………”
Her eyes widened in shock as she listened to the unconventional method the voice was telling her. Honestly, she never expected that it would be so dramatic. However, after the initial shock, she couldn’t help but burst into a mocking laughter.
“Haha, so that can also be done? Haha, can it really be done?”
“Yes. You will have to suffer a bit but it’s guaranteed!” the voice sounded very confident as it said that and Elowyn’s eyes flickered with anticipation.
Her lips curled upwards as she answered, “Then let’s do it. I don’t think that I have much use for these petty emotions.”
The space she was in fluctuated slightly, and Elowyn didn’t seem to see that. However, after that, a sharp dagger with strange writings on it appeared in front of her.
Elowyn looked at the dagger that had an enormous aura emitting from it and, without much emotion, she picked it up.
It was sharp and looking at the writings on it, Elowyn couldn’t help but find the writings a bit familiar. It was as if she had seen them somewhere, but she just couldn’t recall where exactly.
Nonetheless, with the dagger in hand, she knew exactly what she had to do. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes before snapping them open.
Without hesitation, she stabbed her heart in one strong move and coughed out blood, blooding her lips red. However, she didn’t let out a cry but gritted her teeth to suppress the pain she was currently feeling.
She pulled the dagger out. A very dangerous move because she might lose a lot of blood, but did that even matter?
With the dagger in hand, the pain seared all over her body and her body weakened due to blood loss. Elowyn nonetheless continued with what she was doing.
She held the dagger in her hand and slashed her left hand before mixing the blood from her palm and the heart. After doing so, she closed her eyes as she started chanting a mysterious chant.
As she does so, a figure emerges in front of her in the form of a woman. She was wearing a white cloak and a red lotus mark on her forehead. If Elowyn had her eyes opened at that moment, she would have been shocked to the core.
The woman knelt in front of Elowyn, who was obviously in pain but continuing to be strong as she continued to chant the hymn. Surrounding her were golden sparks that were being drawn by the allure of her blood.
At the same time, she could see white and red rays that seemed to be fighting the golden sparks, but the woman simply waved her hands and the red and white rays were pushed aside.
Seeing Elowyn being enveloped by the golden sparks, a smile finally appeared on her face.
She reached out towards Elowyn and caressed her pale cheeks, saying, “My child. I have been waiting for ages to witness someone from my bloodline taking over from where I left off. I was a coward and failed to avenge myself despite the power that I held.
Now that there is you. I will not allow the last seer of my line to disappear in the hands of a scum of a man. I will help you cut this useless link that does nothing but restrain the supernatural. I was once tied to such a link, but I spent the rest of my lifetime raising a child to find ways of breaking the soul link.
Fortunately, I succeeded in my research. Unfortunately, my work was lost and wasn’t inherited by anyone at all. Thankfully, in my soul form, I still managed to linger around for a long time. And I got to see and meet you.
From now on, you won’t have to suffer anymore. Pursue your heart and never be tied down by any emotions. It will be tough for you when you wake up. You might be cold and emotionless, but don’t worry, with time, you will adjust. It will get better.”
The woman sighed as she rose to her feet, seeing her fleeting power. Because of what she had done, she had exhausted the power that had been keeping her soul for centuries. However, she didn’t regret this choice that she made.
“Hmmm~” hearing Elowyn groaning, the woman shook her head, brushing aside any thoughts that she was having, and looked at Elowyn and smiled affectionately.
“My child, we will meet again when you are stronger!” she said with lingering affection before her silhouette disappeared as if it wasn’t there.
Moments after the vanishing act, a golden shield enveloped Elowyn and the wounds on her body started healing at a crazy pace.
It was simply too astonishing.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Hazel’s eyes had turned into crescents as she watched the crazy happenings in the cave.
She hadn’t taken a step away ever since she spotted what was happening to Hazel.
She had heard stories, legends and myths but had never witnessed the birth of a legend in person.
She was so excited as she watched how Elowyn was going through a transformation. She didn’t know what exactly Elowyn was seeing, but whatever it was. It was helping her become a seer at an insane speed.
The results that others achieved after spending years of hard work were what Elowyn was achieving in just hours. How could Hazel not be excited?
However, that excitement turned into worry the moment that she saw blood oozing from Elowyn’s chest.
“No!” she cried out in anguish and started banging on the shield, hoping that she could enter and save Elowyn, but the shield was tough as nails. She couldn’t go anywhere at all.
As if that wasn’t scary enough, the blood was oozing so fast and in large quantities. Her body was twitching, and she seemed to be entering a shock.
To make matters scarier, her left hand started bleeding again.
Hazel regretted performing that ceremony when she saw the pain and suffering this poor girl was going through.
She was envious of how lucky Elowyn was when she saw how Elowyn had succeeded in awakening her seer powers. But who could have guessed that it would end that way?
If only she hadn’t done that, perhaps Elowyn wouldn’t be killed by whatever illusions she was seeing.
Hazel’s heart ached so much. She wished she was very powerful to break that shield and save Elowyn.
Unfortunately, that couldn’t be done. She could only shake her head in pity as she watched the bleeding for a while.
However, as she was filled with remorse and pity, another magical thing happened. From nowhere, Elowyn was surrounded by golden sparks which shocked her so much, she stumbled as she murmured, “How can this be? Destiny ….. who is changing her destiny? What’s going on?”
“Kayden!” she called out to him, and he nodded at her.Earlier, the Alpha had told her repeatedly to call him by his name without the title. Although she felt uncomfortable at first, after exchanging words a few more times, she found herself calling him like that.Perhaps she adapted pretty well because she used to call Hilary by his name as well. Especially when they were alone.Anyway, that wasn’t the crux of the matter right now. She wasn’t with Hilary anymore but with Kayden.[Doesn’t she look beautiful?] Caesar shamelessly boasted as he groomed himself, and Kayden found himself taking several sneakier glances at Elowyn. She wasn’t wearing any fancy clothes, yet she looked ethereal. His heart couldn’t help but pound.‘Beautiful!’“Um ….. um,” but that wonderful moment was disrupted when Letty cleared her throat exaggeratedly, making Elowyn’s fa
With her mind made up, Elowyn no longer stressed herself with many things.Recalling what the Alpha had told her earlier, she started freshening up, getting ready for dinner. It was time to meet others and get acquainted with them. *****Meanwhile, inside Kayden’s villa, he was in the main living room with several people who looked quite relaxed and not imposing.“Kayden, are you really sure that we should keep this girl?”“Yes, she looks a bit delicate.”“What’s her story?”Kayden looked at the men and women who were not just his subordinates, right-hand men, but also friends with a smile. He couldn’t help but remember how lonely he was when he first joined the supernatural world. The fear, doubt and many other thoughts. He was lost, but one by one, meeting them made his life pretty much easier. They have been togethe
Elowyn was in a great mood as she looked at the villa she finally settled on after checking the other villas that were currently not in use.To think that Alpha Kayden could build so many villas for his pack members to live in, she could see the love he has for his family, and that alone made her like the man even more.Coming to the Aynor pack, Elowyn always knew that her stay was guaranteed. After all, Hazel had settled everything for her. But in that moment when she was speaking with the Alpha, she couldn’t help but want to do something for herself. She alone understood how badly she wanted this chance. She knew that the Alpha didn’t have any reason to train her or be involved with this mess. That’s why she went down on her knees to beg him for this chance. She wanted him to know her earnestness. Her looks can be deceiving, and that could be deadly. What if no one takes her seriously or simply assumes that she is delicate and couldn&r
“I will have your identification problem solved before the end of the week. So, I might need your details, if you don’t mind.”Elowyn readily gave them. she didn’t even need to give false information at all. however, she couldn’t help but remind him of something.“I am not sure how you will find my name written in the system. If it’s not deceased, then please just have my previous identification reissued, but if it comes out as deceased, then please use Gardner instead of Gregory as my last name,” she firmly said, taking into account that Hilary might have declared her dead. After all, she truly died in some sense that night.Kayden was curious when he heard that. After all, how could a living person be announced dead all of a sudden? So, he asked her directly.“Do you mind telling me about what happened to you? Why do you need to hide and what you want to achieve? You can choose not to say anyt
She was once fooled by Hilary, and she wasn’t going to let another man fool her again.Luckily, she was only here to stay away from trouble and train. She wasn’t here to date and fool around. With her goals firm, she pushed aside her bias towards Kayden. However, he lives his life, which was on him and not her.So, why fuss? With that in mind, her eyes softened as a smile appeared on her face.Unknown to her, her changes were all captured by Kayden. In fact, her scent shocked him. From being sweet to sour suddenly. It was sour briefly and in that short moment, he could sense this strong aversion towards him that he couldn’t understand. Not understanding what her mind was thinking, the sourness vanished, replaced by the sweetness that got him enchanted. If only he could read her mind, then wouldn’t he be stressed?Unfortunately, there was no way to solve this problem. He could only take it one second at a
Back to the present, after Elowyn ate her food, she began to focus on Linda.“Where are we going. What is it called?”“Aynor town. It’s a private small town with a reasonable number of residents,” Linda answered cautiously.Elowyn’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She wasn’t particularly fond of bustling places. They made her feel socially awkward. She was more used to staying in secluded places. Perhaps she was influenced by her mother, who took her to stay in the woods for years before she found Hilary, who took her to stay with his pack, which resided in the woods as well.Due to their uniqueness, it was rare for packs to live amongst normal human beings. They might mingle and work with them, but to live amongst them, that would mean increasing the risk of being found out. There weren’t many people who knew about the supernatural. Whilst the leaders knew about it, normal humans had no clue. To avo
