While lost in that shock, red and white rays appeared and this time, Hazel fell to the ground. Her body was weak from all the shocking events she was seeing.

“That’s the soul link and heart. What is she doing?” Hazel was in despair, to be honest, as she watched those three colors surrounding Elowyn.

With cold sweat drenching her back, she watched in terror as the golden sparks defeated the red and white rays. With a wry smile on her face, she mumbled under her breath, “Her destiny is changed!” her tone was filled with envy, especially when she thought about how ugly her own fate was but couldn’t change a single thing.

How could one’s fortune be so rich like that?

While drowning in envy, Hazel saw the golden sparks enveloping Elowyn, and all the wounds she had gotten earlier were healed so fast. Her mouth could only be wide open without any sounds coming out.

Elowyn was literally glowing as if a halo was behind her and if those people were to see this, she believed that Elowyn would be locked up and never be allowed to see the light ever again.

She had become precious. Even she was tempted to ….

“Argh~” Before she could finish her thoughts, Hazel groaned in pain as she clutched her head with both hands.

What was happening? What was going on?

Hazel was at a loss for words as she felt like her head was about to split open for no reason. However, as she cried in agony over there, the golden light suddenly vanished and so did the shield that was keeping her from entering the cave.

“Ummmm~” and then a moan sounded as the girl lying on the bed rose up, opening her eyes in confusion.

The moment that Hazel saw Elowyn waking up, the pain vanished as if it wasn’t there. Suddenly, it dawned on Hazel what had just happened.

She looked fearfully at Elowyn, who was looking around as if to gauge where she was and cold sweat drenched her back once again.

‘It’s a warning!’ that’s what she thought, recalling the thoughts she was having before the pain descended on her.

At the same time, Elowyn, who had been kicked out of the training space, finally spotted someone after looking around for a while.

The moment she saw the pale woman sitting on the ground in an awkward position, she raised her hand weakly as she plastered a faint smile on her face and called out, “Hello!”

After all, wouldn’t it be too rude not to greet the person who probably saved her?

Hazel looked at Elowyn with a complicated gaze for a moment before she forced a smile on her face.

“You are awake!” she said, more of a statement as she propped herself from the ground.

Elowyn hummed in response as she changed her sitting posture so that her legs were dangling and now facing the mysterious woman who was wearing a robe.

“Yes, and thank you for saving me!”

Since she wasn’t seeing anyone else, Elowyn was convinced that it was this woman who had saved her.

Hazel didn’t know what to feel when listening to Elowyn. However, she could only move along with the flow.

She couldn’t offend this ancestor. The pain she felt earlier wasn’t a joke. If Elowyn hadn’t woken up, who knew how bad it was going to be? So, she could only smile at Elowyn as she walked towards the cave that was now free to enter.

“It’s nothing. I am glad that you are finally awake. For a moment there, I was afraid that I was going to lose you,” she said sincerely, thinking about how hard it was to bring Elowyn back to the living.

She was badly hurt and her womb needed a lot of cleaning since the fetuses were literally stabbed to death. She was hanging onto life by a thin thread. Thankfully, all the hard work and effort she put in finally paid off.

Elowyn gratefully looked at the woman who saved her, but she couldn’t even form a smile on her face. Thankfully, her eyes were expressive. So, Hazel didn’t feel like the other party was ungrateful.

Hazel stepped into the cave and walked towards Elowyn. Once she was closer, her body shuddered as she could feel the dense power surging in Elowyn.

She didn’t know what was going on in that small body of hers but what she knew that very moment was that if that power was unleashed, a lot of chaos would ensue. She just hoped that Elowyn would suppress and contain that power lest it truly cause chaos.

Nonetheless, she didn’t say a single thing, a bit afraid of offending whoever was protecting Elowyn.

“How are you feeling now? Do you feel any pain?” Hazel asked worriedly as she reached for Elowyn’s hand.

Elowyn let the other took her hand while she answered truthfully. “I feel very good and I don’t feel any pain!” after all, before getting kicked out of that place, she had seen how her heart and hand had been healed.

She didn’t think that wounds created in that space would manifest in real life. Since she felt better there, it meant that she was okay here as well, right?

Hazel nodded as she felt her pulse. There was indeed nothing wrong with Elowyn. All the wounds, despite inner or outer ones, were completely healed. Which was truly a miracle.

“You are indeed healed. Which is great,” Hazel acknowledged that as she let go of Elowyn’s pulse and then took several steps backwards to take a closer look at Elowyn.

Elowyn felt nervous as she looked at the woman, not knowing and understanding what she would ask. However, she waited for the other to speak first instead of getting ahead of her host.

After observing Elowyn for a moment, Hazel finally gave in and started making introductions.

“By the way, I am Hazel. A witch and the one who saved you. You fell from one of the cliffs …….”

Listening to that, Elowyn gritted her teeth as she remembered how Hilary stabbed her ruthlessly and only called out in regret when she was falling.

To think that she was taken by the water currents and was saved by Hazel, she felt that she was truly lucky. If Hazel hadn’t seen her and saved her, then she would be bloating somewhere or could have been eaten by water animals by now.

The thought of such happening, her hatred for those people, resurfaced once again. However, she suppressed her hatred, recalling how there was Hazel whom she hadn’t thanked much in front of her.

She forced a smile on her face as she looked at the other and thankfully said, “Thank you, Hazel, for saving me. I will surely repay you in the future!”

She currently doesn’t have anything at the moment. Her abilities were still unstable. So, there wasn’t much she could promise Hazel, but what she didn’t know was that the single promise was enough for Hazel.

She happily accepted it with a smile.

“I will surely hold you to that.”

Elowyn smiled, relievedly at hearing that.

“Kayden!” she called out to him, and he nodded at her.Earlier, the Alpha had told her repeatedly to call him by his name without the title. Although she felt uncomfortable at first, after exchanging words a few more times, she found herself calling him like that.Perhaps she adapted pretty well because she used to call Hilary by his name as well. Especially when they were alone.Anyway, that wasn’t the crux of the matter right now. She wasn’t with Hilary anymore but with Kayden.[Doesn’t she look beautiful?] Caesar shamelessly boasted as he groomed himself, and Kayden found himself taking several sneakier glances at Elowyn. She wasn’t wearing any fancy clothes, yet she looked ethereal. His heart couldn’t help but pound.‘Beautiful!’“Um ….. um,” but that wonderful moment was disrupted when Letty cleared her throat exaggeratedly, making Elowyn’s fa

After all, Hazel had settled everything for her. But in that moment when she was speaking with the Alpha, she couldn’t help but want to do something for herself. She alone understood how badly she wanted this chance. She knew that the Alpha didn’t have any reason to train her or be involved with this mess. That’s why she went down on her knees to beg him for this chance. She wanted him to know her earnestness. So, I might need your details, if you don’t mind.”Elowyn readily gave them. she didn’t even need to give false information at all. however, she couldn’t help but remind him of something.“I am not sure how you will find my name written in the system. If it’s not deceased, then please just have my previous identification reissued, but if it comes out as deceased, then please use Gardner instead of Gregory as my last name,” she firmly said, taking into account that Hilary might have declared her dead. After all, she truly died in some sense that night.Kayden was curious when he heard that. After all, how could a living person be announced dead all of a sudden? So, he asked her directly.“Do you mind telling me about what happened to you? Why do you need to hide and what you want to achieve? You can choose not to say anyt

Back to the present, after Elowyn ate her food, she began to focus on Linda.“Where are we going. What is it called?”“Aynor town. It’s a private small town with a reasonable number of residents,” Linda answered cautiously.Elowyn’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She wasn’t particularly fond of bustling places. They made her feel socially awkward. She was more used to staying in secluded places. Perhaps she was influenced by her mother, who took her to stay in the woods for years before she found Hilary, who took her to stay with his pack, which resided in the woods as well.Due to their uniqueness, it was rare for packs to live amongst normal human beings. They might mingle and work with them, but to live amongst them, that would mean increasing the risk of being found out. There weren’t many people who knew about the supernatural. Whilst the leaders knew about it, normal humans had no clue. To avo
