The seer on her knees was enveloped with a golden light the moment a lotus mark appeared on her face. As the other witches ran for their lives, there was a loud explosion and the witches nearby were all blown apart.

“Good! Good!” Elowyn applauded like crazy, tears streaming down her cheeks upon seeing the seer protecting herself.

She couldn’t help but find her very strong and much better than her, who failed to protect her children. But who was she compared to the seer?

In the end, she could only be emotional as she continued watching.

After the explosion, the screen changed and showed the seer lying in a small clinic where she gave birth to a male child safely, without any complications.

The female seer settled down in a small town full of humans and, without the seer mark exposed, her whereabouts weren’t even known. She raised her son and taught him well. However, she had suffered greatly back then, so her life was slowly seeping away from her.

She couldn’t contact anyone or a witch to get healed, since that would expose her. She no longer trusted anyone and that included her son, whom she never told about his ancestry.

When her son turned sixteen, she was relieved when she learnt that her son didn’t shift into a werewolf. At least he would live a normal life without getting involved in the messy dealings of his father’s tribe. When he turned eighteen, her son didn’t show any signs of being a seer as well.

After so many years, the seer was finally at peace. Her son didn’t have to fear that her son would suffer once she was gone. With that relief, she didn’t stay in the world for two years before she was gone.

Elowyn didn’t know what to think after seeing all that. However, she continued watching the drama. The young man, after his mother’s passing, grieved hard, but after a while, he picked himself up, married a beautiful girl from town and started a family.

There weren’t any signs of any supernatural beings in his children and neither in his grandchildren. The scene changed in the fourth generation, the children of his grandchildren.

One of them, a young player, messed around a lot and during his travels, he fooled around with a young girl who at that moment made Elowyn’s mouth so wide in shock upon recognizing the person in question.

“Isn’t that my mother?” she was baffled as she saw her mother on the screen.

She might fail to recognize others but her mother, she had lived with the other for sixteen years and her image was still imprinted deeply in her mind. Her auburn hair which was always unique and those green eyes she also took. In fact, Elowyn looked more like her mother now that she was seeing the culprit who impregnated her mother but never did any duty as a father.

As she looked at the greasy man, filled with tricks, she could now understand why her mother never said anything about her father. If it was her, she would do her best to forget such a scumbag. Elowyn couldn’t help but wonder how that beautiful seer ended up having such a disgrace of a descendant. However, as she was thinking about that, something suddenly dawned on her.

“Wait a moment! Does that mean that I am a descendant of the seer as well?” she exclaimed, her eyes widened in realization of that before her heart started drumming like crazy, as excitement filled her.

“Haha, so I am not just human but have supernatural blood in me? Haha, what kind of joke is this?” she couldn’t help but burst into hysterical laughter as that truly dawned on her. “No wonder why I was being forced to watch all this nonsense from the start. So, this is my ancestry? The one my mother couldn’t even talk about it!”

Tears streamed down her cheeks, finding her life truly unexpected and funny.

Why didn’t she know about this sooner? Why was she so unfortunate?

“Now what?” she screamed as she clutched her head while looking at the sky.

“Now, we trigger the power hiding within you. Unlike your ancestors, who carried no trait, you are a different child. Without facing a calamity, that power couldn’t be triggered. Everything is fated. For us to meet here, it was all written on the destiny stone.

Everything always happens for a reason. So don’t resent anyone. Now the question is, do you want to embrace the power your great-great-great grandmother used to wield?

Even when you know and understand how having such power might lead you on the same path as her. Are you willing?” the voice was very enchanting; it was as if it was casting these demonic baits towards her that she couldn’t help but be hooked.

She had seen how that seer suffered, but that love and trust in her partner moved her so much. How the two protected their child even at the cost of their lives. She couldn’t help but think about her mother.

Against all odds, her mother raised her as best as she could until her last breath. How can she not be moved?

If only she knew about these powers, perhaps her mother would have lived. She might have saved her mother, and wouldn’t have gone through the adversity of being betrayed and then killed by the man she loved with her every being.

However, now she was learning that without going through all that, she wouldn’t know all that. What was she supposed to do?

‘I planned everything. How does it feel to nearly have it but then lose it? How dare you, a measly human, think that you can defeat the bond created by the deities?’ however, that disgusting voice of Veda reemerged in her mind, making her gaze dark.

‘Veda, Hilary, and Whitecrest Pack. I won’t let you off!’

“I am willing!” Elowyn’s voice determined voice sounded as she looked around the empty space.

“Good! Since you have agreed, then this place shall become your training place. Without power, you can’t face the vultures that are waiting outside there. As you have seen, seers are rare and they would do anything to have them.

If they can’t have you, they would rather destroy you. So, before we get to that point, Elowyn, you need to hide your abilities. Don’t show them to anyone recklessly. Or you will die without even knowing how. Can you do that?”

Elowyn clenched her fists when she heard that. Her eyes flashed with a resolute glint as she responded to the voice. “Don’t worry. I have learnt it the hard way and this time, I will not allow anyone to fool me. Just tell me what I need to do.”

“That’s good. I love your attitude. Like I said, you just need to train. This place will be very helpful to you. However, there is something I need to tell you. If you want to become more powerful, very fast and protect yourself without suffering, then you might need to do some unconventional methods. Are you willing?” that enchanting voice rang in her ears once again and her heart couldn’t help but thump.

All she could hear was becoming more powerful, very fast and protecting herself.

She had failed to protect herself because she was very weak. In the end, she nearly died and lost her children at the hands of the man she gave her everything to.

How could she not want to be strong?

So, what if she has to walk the wrong path to achieve that?

After learning who she was and how in danger, she was already because of her abilities. Elowyn knew for certain that it didn’t matter what path she chose. As long as she protects herself. So that she wouldn’t suffer the way she did recently, then even if it meant selling her soul.

She was willing.

“Kayden!” she called out to him, and he nodded at her.Earlier, the Alpha had told her repeatedly to call him by his name without the title. Although she felt uncomfortable at first, after exchanging words a few more times, she found herself calling him like that.Perhaps she adapted pretty well because she used to call Hilary by his name as well. Especially when they were alone.Anyway, that wasn’t the crux of the matter right now. She wasn’t with Hilary anymore but with Kayden.[Doesn’t she look beautiful?] Caesar shamelessly boasted as he groomed himself, and Kayden found himself taking several sneakier glances at Elowyn. She wasn’t wearing any fancy clothes, yet she looked ethereal. His heart couldn’t help but pound.‘Beautiful!’“Um ….. um,” but that wonderful moment was disrupted when Letty cleared her throat exaggeratedly, making Elowyn’s fa

The fear, doubt and many other thoughts. He was lost, but one by one, meeting them made his life pretty much easier. They have been togethe

Elowyn was in a great mood as she looked at the villa she finally settled on after checking the other villas that were currently not in use.To think that Alpha Kayden could build so many villas for his pack members to live in, she could see the love he has for his family, and that alone made her like the man even more.Coming to the Aynor pack, Elowyn always knew that her stay was guaranteed. After all, Hazel had settled everything for her. But in that moment when she was speaking with the Alpha, she couldn’t help but want to do something for herself. She alone understood how badly she wanted this chance. She knew that the Alpha didn’t have any reason to train her or be involved with this mess. That’s why she went down on her knees to beg him for this chance. She wanted him to know her earnestness. Her looks can be deceiving, and that could be deadly. What if no one takes her seriously or simply assumes that she is delicate and couldn&r

“I will have your identification problem solved before the end of the week. So, I might need your details, if you don’t mind.”Elowyn readily gave them. she didn’t even need to give false information at all. however, she couldn’t help but remind him of something.“I am not sure how you will find my name written in the system. If it’s not deceased, then please just have my previous identification reissued, but if it comes out as deceased, then please use Gardner instead of Gregory as my last name,” she firmly said, taking into account that Hilary might have declared her dead. After all, she truly died in some sense that night.Kayden was curious when he heard that. After all, how could a living person be announced dead all of a sudden? So, he asked her directly.“Do you mind telling me about what happened to you? Why do you need to hide and what you want to achieve? You can choose not to say anyt

She was once fooled by Hilary, and she wasn’t going to let another man fool her again.Luckily, she was only here to stay away from trouble and train. She wasn’t here to date and fool around. With her goals firm, she pushed aside her bias towards Kayden. However, he lives his life, which was on him and not her.So, why fuss? With that in mind, her eyes softened as a smile appeared on her face.Unknown to her, her changes were all captured by Kayden. In fact, her scent shocked him. From being sweet to sour suddenly. It was sour briefly and in that short moment, he could sense this strong aversion towards him that he couldn’t understand. Not understanding what her mind was thinking, the sourness vanished, replaced by the sweetness that got him enchanted. If only he could read her mind, then wouldn’t he be stressed?Unfortunately, there was no way to solve this problem. Back to the present, after Elowyn ate her food, she began to focus on Linda.“Where are we going. What is it called?”“Aynor town. It’s a private small town with a reasonable number of residents,” Linda answered cautiously.Elowyn’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She wasn’t particularly fond of bustling places. They made her feel socially awkward. She was more used to staying in secluded places. Perhaps she was influenced by her mother, who took her to stay in the woods for years before she found Hilary, who took her to stay with his pack, which resided in the woods as well.Due to their uniqueness, it was rare for packs to live amongst normal human beings. They might mingle and work with them, but to live amongst them, that would mean increasing the risk of being found out. There weren’t many people who knew about the supernatural. Whilst the leaders knew about it, normal humans had no clue. To avo
