“Hazel, follow us obediently and you will live!” the group leader yelled at Hazel but the other simply sneered and arrogantly responded as balls of fire formed on her palms, “I would rather die than follow you. Do you think that I don’t know what you are here for?” she yelled back as she threw the fireballs at the group.

The group leader didn’t seem fazed by Hazel’s refusal as she ducked from the fireballs but sinisterly looked at Elowyn, who was now glowing with a faint red and golden hue while that lotus mark on her forehead was starting to light up.

“Hehe, is this what is giving you confidence?” the group leader snorted as her gaze fixated on Elowyn.

Elowyn watched nervously as Hazel looked panicked. Who would have thought that at such a dangerous time, Elowyn would reveal her identity like that?

Elowyn was watching herself, for a moment, she wanted to bash herself. How could she not even sense something serious like that?

However, thinking about the moments such a thing always happens. Perhaps she was getting a serious insight. But didn’t it know when to come?

If Hazel continued to protect her, she might be defeated. Elowyn was very worried. Not just for Hazel but for her foolish self.

And her premonition was on point. Hazel had been tired out by these witches already and now trying to defend not just herself but protect the other witches from taking Elowyn, she fought with everything that she had but she was overpowered.

Bang!

A powerful attack threw Hazel off the ground, and she lay on the ground, coughing out blood in a weak state.

That arrogant group leader walked towards Hazel, and Elowyn could see indignation and reluctance in Hazel’s eyes, but what could be done?

The meditating Elowyn was clueless with a faint of gold covering her and several witches had already surrounded her. Elowyn could tell that it wasn’t going to bade well for her when she wakes up.

Unlike the witches who could protect themselves with spells and the like, Elowyn couldn’t do so. She was too weak and hadn’t even learnt how to fight. So, if she were to be taken by that group of witches, there was only one ending waiting for her.

Elowyn, watching all that, didn’t like what she was seeing, but what else could she do?

She infuriatingly clenched her fists and watched with reddened eyes as that other witch removed her cloak, revealing a pretty face.

Elowyn was stunned when she saw that face.

How could someone so pretty be so malicious and unfeeling?

Hazel upon seeing the face broke into a hysterical laughter. Elowyn didn’t know why Hazel was like that but as Hazel laughed, she couldn’t help but mockingly said, “Haha, after so long, you still ended up becoming her dog! Puuu … I am very disappointed in you!”

Puchi!

Blood splattered everywhere, and Hazel lay in a pool of cold blood, and that pretty lady looked coldly at Hazel’s cold body before turning her evil gaze on the meditating Elowyn.

Elowyn, who was frozen with shock at what happened so unexpectedly to Hazel, finally found her voice and let out an agonizing cry, “No ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~” the pain of watching Hazel getting coldly stabbed to death descended on her.

She was reminded of the moment when Hilary stabbed her repeatedly. It felt very painful and watch someone who had been so nice to her dying while protecting her. Elowyn was in so much pain.

Perhaps her cry was so agonizing that her meditating self, seemed to have heard it. As she cried in pain despite knowing that it hadn’t happened yet, the meditating self, snapped her eyes open, and then everything went dark.

Unable to see anything, Elowyn started panicking.

“Let me see! You damn it! Let me see! What happened?”

Did she get killed as well? What happened to her?

Elowyn was going crazy as she found herself locked in the dark, unable to see what transpired later.

“Elo, wake up! Elo! Elo!” as she went crazy in that dark room, a voice started calling her, bringing her back to reality.

“Elo! Its fine! wake up and it will be fine!” the voice kept on urging her.

Elowyn, who was so scared in that dark room, started calming down.

‘Someone is calling me! No … Hazel is calling me!’ she thought with certainty before her eyes lit up despite being in the dark.

“Haha, she is alive! She didn’t die!” she laughed hysterically as that reality dawned on her.

Her eyes squinted with happiness as she added, “This is a vision. No one had suffered yet. I just need to get myself out of here. Let me see what to do!”

With Hazel’s voice acting as an anchor, she started thinking about everything that she had learnt.

She took deep breaths and meditated on a chant that she was taught just earlier that day. To think that when she was being taught about it, she inwardly scolded and mocked how it could be used. After all, who would be so stupid as to fall under the spell of a vision?

But see where she was?

While she tried to escape from the vision world, Hazel was on the verge of going crazy.

One moment she was organizing her herbs, and the next, she was panicking as she watched Elowyn surrounded by that magical shield that kept her away from reaching her.

She didn’t know what the girl was going through once again, but it didn’t seem to be a good thing. She was convulsing, cursing and finally, she was crying as she called her name.

When Hazel heard her name being hysterically called out by a seer, she had a premonition that it wasn’t anything good.

It was never a good sign when one’s name was uttered by a seer. It only meant that she or he had seen something, and judging from how Elowyn was reacting, it shouldn’t be anything good.

She was supposed to celebrate that Elowyn had her first vision but at that very moment, she sincerely prayed that she hadn’t done so.

In the end, she could only do her best to use methods she had once heard. Guide the seer to leave the vision world in one piece without hurting her.

By using herself as an anchor. Something that could be done by those who were close to the seer. She hoped that Elowyn wouldn’t be hurt.

She patiently guided the other, and the more she did, the more Elowyn became calmer. Seeing that, Hazel heaved a sigh of relief and continued to guide despite being separated by the shield.

Her back was drenched in cold sweat, and her hands were shaking, but she continued to guide Elowyn until the shield of protection finally disintegrated. The moment it did, Elowyn suddenly fell to the ground, and Hazel hurriedly ran towards her.

Although she failed to catch Elowyn before she fell, Elowyn didn’t suffer much harm, thankfully.

Seeing the pale-faced girl, Hazel felt sorry for her.

She had heard how visions might be taxing on the seers, but never thought that it could be that dangerous. Nonetheless, she carried the girl and tsked as she felt Elowyn’s clothes all wet. She must have been scared big time for her to be so shaken like that.

Hazel brought Elowyn to her room where she changed her out of the wet clothes, put on dry clothes for her before laying her gently on the stone bed.

What kind of vision did she have to end up that way?

Did she perhaps see her in that vision?

Could it be that she died, or they both died?

If that was the case, then who did it and why?

There were so many questions that she wanted to ask Elowyn but the other party was sleeping. It wasn’t even thirty minutes and yet see what the vision had done to her.

Even if she wanted to know something. She could only wait until Elowyn wakes up and wait until she was ready to share.

It was never a good thing to force a seer.

They might seem weak and unable to combat others, but once they understand their powers very well. They became deadly, even worse than those blood sucking morons.

She could only exercise patience.

Once that was done, she took a deep breath as she looked at the sleeping girl and murmured, “I hope that you will be fine!” before starting to walk away.

“Hazel, wait!” However, before she could take ten steps, Elowyn’s groggy voice stopped her in her tracks.

“Kayden!” she called out to him, and he nodded at her.Earlier, the Alpha had told her repeatedly to call him by his name without the title. Although she felt uncomfortable at first, after exchanging words a few more times, she found herself calling him like that.Perhaps she adapted pretty well because she used to call Hilary by his name as well. Especially when they were alone.Anyway, that wasn’t the crux of the matter right now. She wasn’t with Hilary anymore but with Kayden.[Doesn’t she look beautiful?] Caesar shamelessly boasted as he groomed himself, and Kayden found himself taking several sneakier glances at Elowyn. She wasn’t wearing any fancy clothes, yet she looked ethereal. His heart couldn’t help but pound.‘Beautiful!’“Um ….. um,” but that wonderful moment was disrupted when Letty cleared her throat exaggeratedly, making Elowyn’s fa

The fear, doubt and many other thoughts. He was lost, but one by one, meeting them made his life pretty much easier. They have been togethe

Elowyn was in a great mood as she looked at the villa she finally settled on after checking the other villas that were currently not in use.To think that Alpha Kayden could build so many villas for his pack members to live in, she could see the love he has for his family, and that alone made her like the man even more.Coming to the Aynor pack, Elowyn always knew that her stay was guaranteed. After all, Hazel had settled everything for her. But in that moment when she was speaking with the Alpha, she couldn’t help but want to do something for herself. She alone understood how badly she wanted this chance. She knew that the Alpha didn’t have any reason to train her or be involved with this mess. That’s why she went down on her knees to beg him for this chance. She wanted him to know her earnestness. Her looks can be deceiving, and that could be deadly. What if no one takes her seriously or simply assumes that she is delicate and couldn&r

“I will have your identification problem solved before the end of the week. So, I might need your details, if you don’t mind.”Elowyn readily gave them. she didn’t even need to give false information at all. however, she couldn’t help but remind him of something.“I am not sure how you will find my name written in the system. If it’s not deceased, then please just have my previous identification reissued, but if it comes out as deceased, then please use Gardner instead of Gregory as my last name,” she firmly said, taking into account that Hilary might have declared her dead. After all, she truly died in some sense that night.Kayden was curious when he heard that. After all, how could a living person be announced dead all of a sudden? So, he asked her directly.“Do you mind telling me about what happened to you? Why do you need to hide and what you want to achieve? You can choose not to say anyt

Back to the present, after Elowyn ate her food, she began to focus on Linda.“Where are we going. What is it called?”“Aynor town. It’s a private small town with a reasonable number of residents,” Linda answered cautiously.Elowyn’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She wasn’t particularly fond of bustling places. They made her feel socially awkward. She was more used to staying in secluded places. Perhaps she was influenced by her mother, who took her to stay in the woods for years before she found Hilary, who took her to stay with his pack, which resided in the woods as well.Due to their uniqueness, it was rare for packs to live amongst normal human beings. They might mingle and work with them, but to live amongst them, that would mean increasing the risk of being found out. There weren’t many people who knew about the supernatural. Whilst the leaders knew about it, normal humans had no clue. To avo
