One hour later, Hazel exhaled a turbid breath with complicated emotions flickering in her eyes.

She hadn’t expected to hear such shocking news, to be honest. Although she expected that one day those morons would find her. She didn’t think that it would be that soon.

She had been hiding from them for three good years, and they hadn’t found her. She thought that after giving them such a hard blow previously, they would behave. But who would have thought that they were using other means to crack her, and they were almost succeeding?

If Elowyn hadn’t had that vision, then perhaps they would both be caught off-guard and she would surely lose.

When she thought about how she lost, Hazel couldn’t help but look at Elowyn and close her eyes.

To think that this child was so honest as to reveal every single detail. Wasn’t she afraid that she might hate her or hurt her? After all, if she were alone, she might have survived, but in order to protect Elowyn, she ended up dying.

Either way, Hazel was mature enough to understand herself pretty well. From the moment she realized that Elowyn wasn’t an ordinary child and, most importantly, a seer, she had prepared herself for the craziness that would come.

It’s just that having that come before Elowyn was prepared. Now that made her feel panicked for the first time.

Being here and staying here for years without any troubles, she had gotten very relaxed that she forgot that the world out there wasn’t as sweet as everyone imagined.

Elowyn was weak and that needed changed. If they didn’t do anything about it, then perhaps she might even die before she achieved anything and that would be a pity. Even if she didn’t meet her end, if she were to be caught by that group of lunatics, Hazel shuddered at the thought of what they might do to such an amateur seer.

The thought of Elowyn succumbing to that cruel destiny if she unfortunately ends up in the hands of those people. Hazel knew what to do to save both of them from such torment.

As she thought, Elowyn was nervous as she watched Hazel with her eyes closed. She didn’t know how Hazel was accepting what she had just said, but all she knew was that she had messed up.

She shouldn’t have said it the way she saw it, but used some means to relay what was necessary. Unfortunately, it was too late. She had spoken already. She could only wait until Hazel digested what she had said and see what she had to say next.

After all, this concerned both of their lives. Moreover, she was a bit scared of being abandoned. If Hazel were to let her go. she didn’t even know where to go right now. the world was scary out there. If she carelessly exposed herself …. The thought of that sent shivers down her spine.

Thankfully, Hazel didn’t remain in that state for a long time.

She opened her eyes and looked at Elowyn with an indescribable gaze and Elowyn nervously placed her hands on her knees like a kindergarten student, ready to get scolded by the teacher.

Hazel’s lips twitched when she saw that, but she felt warm as she understood why Elowyn was like that.

Suddenly, she didn’t feel like teasing the other party. Who knows if she might end up crying?

After all, Elowyn was just a twenty-one-year-old who found herself thrown into a world of the supernatural. She didn’t need to be scared of, but be embraced even when such a tragedy was upon them.

“Elo,” she softly called the other and Elowyn looked at Hazel with her large green eyes that seemed to be full of dependence.

“Yes, Hazel!” her nervous voice sounded and rang in Hazel’s ears. She couldn’t help but chuckle lightly as she continued.

“Elo, whatever happened there is not your fault. remember that you are a seer and you have seen a vision. Since you have seen it and shared it. It means that we can prevent it beforehand. So don’t feel any guilt, okay?” Hazel soothingly said to Elowyn, hoping that she wouldn’t continue to feel guilty for what hadn’t happened yet.

When Elowyn heard that, her eyes started to sting, feeling comforted by those words. The weight that was weighing her down and nearly kept her locked in that dark room seemed to be slowly vanishing as Hazel’s words kept on repeating in her mind.

“The witches you have seen are people that I know and some of them were once very close to me. But don’t worry, nothing will happen to me. We have fought for years and there is no way that I will let myself be defeated with them!” she chucklingly explained though inwardly she was seeing a thousand ways to deal with that bastard apprentice of hers. How dare she drive a dagger into her belly and scare Elowyn?

Did that little bastard loathe her that much?

Just what did Juniper tell that little bastard to come after her with so much hatred?

Anyway, there was still time for her to get the answers. For now, she just wanted to deal with Elowyn’s matter and send her as far away from here as possible.

Her existence shouldn’t be known by those witches at any cost. She couldn’t afford it.

On the other side, Elowyn was relieved as she listened to Hazel’s reassurance. As long as she doesn’t get defeated, then she is at peace.

“Those people should already be on their way and it might be difficult to face them the two of us. You are a seer and currently I don’t want you to face any dangers. So, I plan to send you to a very safe place. as long as you go there, I can be at ease,” Hazel began to tell Elowyn about the safe place that she wanted to send her.

Elowyn was unwilling to be honest. She was used being around Hazel and to be sent to other people when Hazel was facing her enemies. She didn’t feel good. It felt as if she was being a deserter and that feeling wasn’t good to be honest.

However, the reality was very cruel. She was useless and couldn’t even protect herself. If she were to continue to linger around Hazel right now. She would only bring harm to both of them.

She might get Hazel killed and, at the same time, get abducted. Who knows what she might face when taken in by enemies?

The thought of facing the same ending as her ancestor and other seers she had seen in that movie. Elowyn decided to listen to Hazel.

One day she will get stronger and be able to protect those she wanted to keep. She needed to work hard.

Hazel, on the other hand, was relieved when she saw how cooperative Elowyn was. She was afraid that the other party might be a bit clingy, and that would have become a problem.

As much as she would have wanted to watch over Elowyn. Right now, Elowyn was a liability that would get all of them dead. It was better to separate for now while she deals with her enemies. Once the war was over, she would return to Elowyn’s side and continue to help her as she had all this time.

However, for now, only that place was good enough to train Elowyn. She wasn’t just a seer. Despite the lack of a wolf in her, she was born from someone with werewolf genes. She was a witch and could sense that.

Moreover, in that place, there were other people like Elowyn, and she would fit in there perfectly. With their help, she would become a warrior in no short time. That would be very helpful for her in the future. At least, she would learn to protect herself from harm.

After discussing the matter seriously, Elowyn was left with no choice but to agree to Hazel’s plans. Moreover, she didn’t have the strength to argue at all. After all, currently in this world, apart from Hazel, who saved her from the clutches of death. She didn’t trust or know anyone.

She was raised by her mother in the woods where they were surrounded by nature, small wild animals and plants.

It was even surprising to learn that there were werewolves who happen to have territories. She was fortunate that she and her mother settled in a territory that didn’t belong to any pack. Otherwise, they could have been killed, or taken in to become slaves. Anything could have happened but fortunately it didn’t have.

She didn’t know what her mother was afraid of to live in the real society with other people. but whatever it was, the fact that she grew up in such an environment, also meant that she didn’t have any friends.

That’s why when she stumbled upon Hilary, she ended up that way. That pack was her family, and see what the family did to her?

If she were to roam around on her own. Who knows if she would end up getting spotted by Hilary and his men?

If that happened, would she be able to protect herself?

So, it was better to trust Hazel. She wouldn’t bring her any harm. At least for now. So, she ended up agreeing which also made Hazel feel relieved.

That very night, no one was in the mood to sleep, to be honest.

“Kayden!” she called out to him, and he nodded at her.Earlier, the Alpha had told her repeatedly to call him by his name without the title. Although she felt uncomfortable at first, after exchanging words a few more times, she found herself calling him like that.Perhaps she adapted pretty well because she used to call Hilary by his name as well. Especially when they were alone.Anyway, that wasn’t the crux of the matter right now. She wasn’t with Hilary anymore but with Kayden.[Doesn’t she look beautiful?] Caesar shamelessly boasted as he groomed himself, and Kayden found himself taking several sneakier glances at Elowyn. She wasn’t wearing any fancy clothes, yet she looked ethereal. His heart couldn’t help but pound.‘Beautiful!’“Um ….. um,” but that wonderful moment was disrupted when Letty cleared her throat exaggeratedly, making Elowyn’s fa

The fear, doubt and many other thoughts. He was lost, but one by one, meeting them made his life pretty much easier. They have been togethe

Elowyn was in a great mood as she looked at the villa she finally settled on after checking the other villas that were currently not in use.To think that Alpha Kayden could build so many villas for his pack members to live in, she could see the love he has for his family, and that alone made her like the man even more.Coming to the Aynor pack, Elowyn always knew that her stay was guaranteed. After all, Hazel had settled everything for her. But in that moment when she was speaking with the Alpha, she couldn’t help but want to do something for herself. She alone understood how badly she wanted this chance. She knew that the Alpha didn’t have any reason to train her or be involved with this mess. That’s why she went down on her knees to beg him for this chance. She wanted him to know her earnestness. Her looks can be deceiving, and that could be deadly. What if no one takes her seriously or simply assumes that she is delicate and couldn&r

“I will have your identification problem solved before the end of the week. So, I might need your details, if you don’t mind.”Elowyn readily gave them. she didn’t even need to give false information at all. however, she couldn’t help but remind him of something.“I am not sure how you will find my name written in the system. If it’s not deceased, then please just have my previous identification reissued, but if it comes out as deceased, then please use Gardner instead of Gregory as my last name,” she firmly said, taking into account that Hilary might have declared her dead. After all, she truly died in some sense that night.Kayden was curious when he heard that. After all, how could a living person be announced dead all of a sudden? So, he asked her directly.“Do you mind telling me about what happened to you? Why do you need to hide and what you want to achieve? You can choose not to say anyt

It was sour briefly and in that short moment, he could sense this strong aversion towards him that he couldn’t understand. Not understanding what her mind was thinking, the sourness vanished, replaced by the sweetness that got him enchanted. If only he could read her mind, then wouldn’t he be stressed?Unfortunately, there was no way to solve this problem. • The Reckoning Of A Scorned Luna   CHAPTER 22: AYNOR TOWN 2

Back to the present, after Elowyn ate her food, she began to focus on Linda.“Where are we going. What is it called?”“Aynor town. It’s a private small town with a reasonable number of residents,” Linda answered cautiously.Elowyn’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She wasn’t particularly fond of bustling places. They made her feel socially awkward. She was more used to staying in secluded places. Perhaps she was influenced by her mother, who took her to stay in the woods for years before she found Hilary, who took her to stay with his pack, which resided in the woods as well.Due to their uniqueness, it was rare for packs to live amongst normal human beings. They might mingle and work with them, but to live amongst them, that would mean increasing the risk of being found out. There weren’t many people who knew about the supernatural. Whilst the leaders knew about it, normal humans had no clue. To avo
