Bonus Chapter 4

The next morning, Sarah woke up to find Evan already dressed and sitting on the balcony, sipping a cup of coffee. She joined him, noticing the distant look in his eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked, concern etched on her face.

Evan forced a smile. "Just enjoying the view."

Sarah sat down beside him, placing a hand on his arm. "No, really. You've been distant since last night. What's bothering you?"

Evan sighed, setting his coffee down. "I just... saw someone yesterday. Someone from my past."

Sarah's eyes narrowed. "Who?"

Evan hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. "Just someone I used to know. It brought up some old memories, that's all."

Sarah's grip on his arm tightened. "Evan, you can tell me. What's going on?"

Evan looked at her, his eyes searching for reassurance. "I promise, it's nothing to worry about. Just old ghosts, okay?"

Sarah studied his face, then nodded. "Okay. But if you ever want to talk, I'm here."
