Chapter 11

Simon sat at his desk, unsure of how to start the letter.

His head was blank. To worsen the situation, he was so exhausted after the walk from the forest.

He was feeling dizzy and could barely sit for long. It seemed as though the food he ate had weakened him more, even though he thought that he had gathered some strength.

After contemplating if he should go ahead with writing the letter or not, he stood up and made for his bed.

He slouched on his bed facing upwards.

Different thoughts started flooding into his head.

How he could have died, and how Freya almost lost her life when he left her in the forest.

If Freya's parents were alive, none of these things would have happened.

Their death was sudden. He least expected their lives to be cut short early.

He inhaled and exhaled deeply.

Something must be done quickly before things get out of hand. But what was he supposed to do when his life was threatened too?
