Chapter 7

Freya sat before a middle aged man.

He had bright white eyes, curly dark hair that fell on his shoulders and thin lips which fitted his oval-shaped face.

He stared at Freya for a while then spoke:

"You stated that you need shelter."

Freya shook her head in affirmation.

When she left Simon in the woods, she was determined to make things work out on her own, so she searched for shelter.

She moved around till she saw a pack. It was smaller than where she was before, but that didn't matter to her because what she needed was shelter and a safe place to stay from the prying eyes of Alan.

Here she was, seated before the owner of the pack, praying that he accepts her, at least, for the meantime.

She wanted a place where it would be hard for Alan to find her. Though it wasn't far from her former place, it was somewhere she could rest her head and stay low.

"I don't want to be curious as to why you came here for shelter, but I hope you do not cause any trouble," the middle aged man stated.
