Selene's POV

A week passed by quickly, and the day arrived sooner than I had expected.

I stared at my reflection, standing still in front of the mirror. No silk, no gowns. Just a plain white shirt and jeans. I didn’t even bother with makeup. My braid was messy, my face bare, and my shoulders heavy with dread. I didn’t want to look like a Luna, or a princess, or anything important. I just wanted to look like a woman, just a woman, trying to save someone she cared about.

The sudden thought of Anthony caused a sharp pain in my chest. He was still in that bed, still hurting, still fighting that damn drug. Enduring over fifteen hours of torture every day. His body was burning from the inside, his voice hoarse from holding back screams. The worst part? I couldn’t even comfort him by holding his hand. One touch from me might make things worse.

I let out a shaky breath and looked away from the mirror.

Before I left, I made sure everything was in place. Two Omegas from the servants Ethan had

Selene's POV “Yes,” Elara whispered. “Just don’t let him come. Please.”“Elara, you were never forced to be here. You had choices.”“I didn’t know it would turn out like this,” she choked. “I didn’t expect you to find out about my past. I thought I had time. I thought…” She broke off, grabbing both my hands now, holding on like she was drowning. “Please, Selene. Please. I’ll apologize for everything. For what I did. What I said. All of it. Just don’t let him see me.”“Why are you so afraid of him showing up, though?” I asked, tilting my head.“Because he knows me. The real me. I can’t fake anything with him. If he sees me here, like this, he’ll know everything.”“You mean the lies? The games? The way you smiled in Victor’s arms while helping Dimitri stab me in the back?”“I don’t have feelings for Victor,” she said fast. “I swear. I am only staying near him to survive. I never loved him.”I raised an eyebrow. “So what? That makes everything okay now?”“No, but I’m telling you the tru

Selene's POV After a long pause, the host slowly looked around the hall again. His eyes moved from elder to elder, then to the warriors, and finally back to Victor.“Very well,” he said at last, this time with more strength in his voice. “If there are no further objections or information to be shared, we will proceed with the vote.”I straightened in my seat, trying to control my breathing as the host continued, “One by one, you will all step forward to cast your vote.”The room buzzed with activity as the council members began to rise and make their way to the silver ballot box at the center of the hall. I watched every single one of them. Some kept their eyes down. Others looked straight ahead, their faces giving away nothing.I wanted to believe that they had listened. That they had read the reports with open minds. That my voice had mattered.Victor didn’t speak. He just stood tall beside me with his arms folded. His expression was blank, but his energy was… controlled and Alpha-

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 123

Selene's POV Some of the council members started whispering to one another, while others stared down at their phones with wide eyes and mouths moving without sound.“What rubbish are you saying?!” Alpha Dimitri’s voice suddenly tore through the silence. He stood up, slamming both fists against the table. “This is slander. A lowly Omega making noise just to be seen.”Thankfully, Victor intervened before Dimitri could speak again.“Father, please sit down and let her finish.”Dimitri blinked in surprise. “You are letting this girl…”Victor’s chair scraped back as he stood up, tall and cold, looking like every inch of the Alpha he was born to be. His eyes locked on Dimitri, dark and unreadable. “I said, sit.”Dimitri stared at him for a second longer before gritting his teeth and sinking back into his seat, though every muscle in his body looked ready to explode.I turned back to the council. “I sent you all an email just now. Please go through it very well because in that file you will

Selene's POV Slowly, I walked forward, like I had all the time in the world. The room was dead silent, with every single person staring at the phone in my hand like it held the moon itself.I didn’t stop until I stood right in the middle of the room, not far from the smug little pack of liars who had spent the last few minutes painting me as the villain. I tilted the phone screen towards the hall and tapped the video.

Selene's POV The warrior ignored my question and just forcefully grabbed my arm, dragging me along without a word.“Let go of her,” Leena cried from behind, trying to stop him. “She’s not going anywhere with you!”He didn’t even glance back. “She doesn't have a choice.”

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 110

Selene's POV It had been several days since I shut down Lisa and her pack of cowards. Finally, real peace had finally returned to the little corner of my world. No one stared at me with judgement. No one whispered behind my back. Lisa and the others hadn’t come near us since. I stretched under the cozy blanket, the warm morning light slipping through the curtain. The tiny cot had never felt more inviting. Outside, I could hear birds chirping, and there was no yelling, no rushing, no banging of doors. Just peace.A faint smile played on my lips, and for the first time in what felt like weeks, my body didn’t feel like it was at war with my soul.Suddenly, there was a soft knock and before I could answer, the door creaked open.Leena stepped in, balancing a tray in her hands.“Good morning, Lady Selene,” she greeted gently, the same way a sister might speak to a child. “I didn’t want to wake you too early.”“I was already awake,” I whispered, slowly pushing myself up. My belly was beg
