Even as Alpha Hendrix was been driven back, thoughts of Aria entered his head. She was the daughter that reminded him the most of his dead mate. Which was why he hated her.

The way her brain worked was similar to the way his dead mate used to think. It annoyed him the most that it was the dark child that had most of the attributes of the woman he loved.

Peter hit a pothole and the car shook. The action caused Alpha Hendrix to come out of his thoughts and focus on the road ahead.

"Apologies my Alpha. I didn't see the pothole," Peter apologised.

This made Hendrix turn his head to Peter. Questions ran through his mind. Had he been this much of an heartless person? Just how much had he been evil to his people?

"Peter, may I ask you something?" Hendrix asked.

"Of course," Peter answered as quickly as the question left Hendrix's lips.

Hendrix paused for a while, thinking of how he wound place the question. "Am I an evil Alpha?" He let it out.
