KYRA'S POV

In the darkness of the room, I sat and tears ran freely down my face. I didn't know which room I had run into because I was in a hurry to get out of sight.

The broken pitcher was still out there and it was enough that they didn’t know how the pitcher broke or who was there. It would have been worse for me if they found out I was there.

More tears flowed and my heart almost gave out. I tried much to control the sobs; I guess they were getting louder by the moment. I didn’t care if it gave out my location.

After a long time of crying, I felt the weight lift from my chest and my sobbing subsided. It was while I was sniffing in the tears that were left that I noticed where I was.

I had run into one of the store rooms. The moon was at its brightest as its rays poured through the window, on a large pile of wheat on the far side of the wall.

Almost every other thing was in the dark. Many of the wheat was stored in bags but I didn’t know why the ones on the ground were left where
