KYRA'S POV

I sat still listening to the both of them converse. I couldn't join in their conversation because I wasn't a part of their family and somehow, I could see through Ace's eyes and I could see his displeasure in them. He must dislike me so much already, especially now. I heaved a sigh of relief and then walked away from them. The bond between them brought back memories of my parents and how they had been murdered in cold blood. It brought tears to my eyes and even though I tried to prevent it from trickling down, it still found a way to do as it liked

Nora noticed me when I rose to my feet but had said nothing until she saw the drop of teardrop to the floor. She flew up and walked towards me, wrapping her hands around me. "You've got nothing to worry about. It's going to be alright," she assured me, patting me like an elder sister would.
