Chapter Fourteen

Aurora’s POV

When I woke up for the second time, it was broad daylight. A quick glance at my bedside clock told me it was very few minutes till nine am.

Today was a big day for me, if not the biggest day of my life, and I constantly had to tell myself that this was a good thing because fear was gnawing at my insides. Fear of the unknown. I mean what if I was more miserable there than here? I chose to silence that thought.

Positive thoughts only!

I started packing the rest of my belongings that hadn’t already been put in my suitcases. When I was done, I looked around and discovered I didn’t have much stuff.

My entire life fits into two medium-sized suitcases; I sighed and stepped out of my room. I’d better get started on dressing up if I didn’t want to delay my dad. I had no idea what time he planned to leave but I didn’t want to be rushed if he came early.
