Amelia's POV

Consciousness slowly returned to me, like a veil being lifted from my senses. As my eyes fluttered open, I found myself in an unfamiliar place. The air was heavy with the scent of damp earth, and the sound of dripping water echoed through the chamber.

I tried to sit up, but searing pain shot through my body, forcing me back down. Panic welled up inside me as I realized I was bound, my wrists and ankles secured by thick chains.

Fear mingled with determination as I surveyed my surroundings. I was in a dimly lit underground cavern, its walls covered in ancient symbols and carvings. It felt ominous, a place of secrets and darkness.
