Chapter 12

ADRIAN'S POV

I was utterly shocked when I saw Eva walk out the tower room – she was the last person that I was expecting to see at that time. My eyes widened, I thought I was hallucinating so I used both my hands to rub my eyes but she was still standing there — it was real, I wasn't hallucinating.

Trust me to flub – in less than five minutes I had already forgotten the promise I made to myself about not letting Eva distract me. I recalled all the silly thoughts I had in my head concerning her and I was losing it. Looking at her lips without not being to taste them was driving me nuts and causing my heartbeat to accelerate.

"Adrian?? What are you doing here??" Eva called out and jolted me back to reality. Thank goodness she said something otherwise I would have started to drool because of how I kept my mouth agape, staring at her. I closed my mouth but I didn't look away – I couldn't stop staring at her.
