The Rejected Omega Mate

EVA'S POV.

You know, it's funny enough how everything you love and cherish comes crashing down in innumerable pieces and all of your hopes of being with someone die and your heart is being destroyed or should I say shattered. The feeling is worse when you're betrayed by the one whom you love so much and guess what, this happened to me with the alpha's son, Adrian.

My head spun around as I tried to open up my eyes early that morning. I was trying to get comfortable, as strong rays of the morning sun pierced through the Venetian blinds installed in my room. I rolled and stretched myself on my comfy bed as I eventually fluttered my eyes open, smiling at the thoughts of what happened yesterday, between me and Adrian, the love of my life.

I giggled sheepishly as I thought about what happened yesterday. It was a thought that made me feel like butterflies were fluttering in my belly. A thought that I would never forget because of how well Adrian professed his love to me.

For some people, it would feel to them as though they had just committed the biggest treason in their life, but for me, I had just had a good time and I loved every minute of it, I have no regrets whatsoever.

By the way, I am Eva, the daughter of one of the most respected and feared Alpha of the City and my mother too was noble, being the Luna of such a respected Alpha. I was an only child. So you can imagine how much love I got, how much care I acquired, and most of all, how much protection I got. I have everything a child could ever ask for.

Anyways, yesterday something mind-blowing happened between me and Adrian. I had incorporated my soul into Adrian's, and he too had done his, into mine. What we did made me fall in love with him more because he assured me that he will never leave my side.

"Eva! Eva!!" My mother's call interrupted my thoughts.

"Yes mom," I replied and before getting up from my comfy bed, the door blasted open.

"Mom!! I cried out loud, "Privacy please!"

"Good morning dear, and sorry about that. I didn't know that you are old enough to demand privacy," she teased me as she said, walking up to me, her blue eyes bright as ever.

"Good morning mom." I greeted her with a warm smile.

"Come on, stand up. You should prepare." My mom said to me as she stared at me intensely.

"Prepare? For what??" I asked, confused.

"Don't tell me that you don't remember. You know we have lots of work together and also don't forget, today is for pack runs."

"Gosh!! Pack runs? Why is that? Come on Mom, you know that I have not found my wolf yet!" I cried out in a loud distressing voice.

Her expression changed, probably she was also not happy that I had not found my wolf up until nineteen. Well, it isn't my fault.

"Eva, please just stand up and get ready. I will go speak with your dad now," she said and patted me on my head before heading toward the door and leaving my room.

No matter what happened to my wolf, I knew it was for my good and my own protection but that was one thing I never loved. Upon being the alpha's daughter, and having as much security, I was still exposed to the fracas that occurred amongst packs. It was usually brawling, fight on a fight, and so much bloodshed. Something I never loved but what made me happy is the fact that I had my caring boyfriend, and that was all that mattered to me.

Shrugging off that thought, I got up on my feet and moved quickly to the bathroom to go and pee. I got to the bathroom and shimmered my pants down and quickly relieved myself. I then prepared for a bath.

Today felt like a special day to me. No matter how much I thought about it, nothing was off. It was a few days before my 20th birthday and I was already excited. More than that, I would be engaged to Adrian soonest.

"I would be the latest bride in the city." I thought to myself as I giggled.

Well, I managed to escape from the packhouse, all in the name of going to college. As I was my kind of person, I didn't so much like college and that was what I did every time, escaping I mean. I lied all the time that I was going to college and went off to meet Adrian, how far our crazy love had gone.

When I was done getting ready, I went downstairs and headed straight to the door. I got outside and stepped into my car as I drove out of the pack house. I and Adrian had planned to meet at some sort of resort but I didn't know the exact location. Anyways not knowing the address, I drove straight to college to meet up with him because I was sure that he would be there waiting for my arrival.

I got to my college and slowly got out of my car. I then walked into the boring lecture of Mr. Hodges, the English Professor. I looked around and sighted Adrian, the love of my life. He turned, noticing me, and waved at me. I smiled warmly at him. His golden face glittered, and the way he smiled back at me made my heart overwhelmed with love.

After a few minutes of listening to Mr. Hodges' boring lecture, I got up from my seat and left the class immediately, turning around to go wait for Adrian because of the plans we had made. I carefully snuck out of class because if I was seen by one of the professors, it would be the end game for me. I would be reported to my father, and who knows, I might just be one of the people my father has his eyes on.
