The tension in the clearing snapped.

Alpha Damon moved first.

With a furious roar, he lunged forward, claws slashing through the air toward Kael’s chest. The speed of the attack made several wolves gasp.

But Alpha Kael didn’t panic.

He stepped aside at the last second, the claws missing him by inches. In the same motion, Kael grabbed Damon’s arm and shoved him back with brutal force.

Damon staggered but quickly regained his balance.

The two Alphas circled each other slowly, their eyes glowing, their wolves close to the surface. The air around them felt heavy with raw power.

Aria’s heart hammered painfully in her chest.

She had never seen an Alpha fight before. The energy pouring from both men made it hard to breathe.

“Is that all you’ve got?” Kael asked calmly.

The taunt worked.

Damon snarled and attacked again, faster this time. His fist slammed into Kael’s jaw, sending a sharp crack through the silent clearing.

Several wolves cried out.

But Kael barely reacted.

Slowly, he turned his head back toward Damon, wiping a small line of blood from his lip.

Then he smiled.

A dangerous smile.

“My turn,” Kael said quietly.

Before Damon could react, Kael struck.

His fist slammed into Damon’s ribs with crushing force. The impact forced the Alpha back several steps, pain flashing across his face.

Gasps spread through the crowd.

No one had ever seen their Alpha pushed back like that.

Damon growled and shifted partially, his muscles expanding as his wolf pushed forward. His eyes burned brighter as rage flooded his system.

“You’ll regret that,” Damon snarled.

Then he attacked again.

The two Alphas collided with explosive force.

Fists flew. Claws tore through clothing. The sound of their blows echoed through the clearing like thunder.

Aria’s hands trembled as she watched them fight.

Every strike looked deadly.

Damon slashed at Kael’s shoulder, drawing blood this time. The scent of it immediately filled the air.

The crowd went silent.

Blood in an Alpha fight meant the battle had truly begun.

But Kael didn’t retreat.

Instead, something changed in his expression.

His silver eyes darkened as if a switch had flipped inside him.

“You’re stronger than I expected,” Kael admitted.

Damon smirked.

“Too strong for you.”

Kael chuckled softly.

“We’ll see.”

Then Kael suddenly grabbed Damon by the throat and slammed him hard against one of the wooden posts surrounding the clearing.

The post cracked from the impact.

Damon struggled, trying to break free, but Kael’s grip tightened.

For a moment, it looked like the fight was already over.

But then something unexpected happened.

A strange pulse of energy suddenly rushed through the clearing.

Aria gasped.

A sharp pain exploded in her chest, forcing her to clutch her heart.

Something inside her was reacting to the fight.

The ground beneath her feet trembled slightly.

Kael’s head snapped toward her immediately.

His eyes widened.

“Impossible…” he murmured.

Because the power rising from Aria didn’t feel like an omega’s strength.

It felt like an Alpha’s.

His silver eyes were serious now, far more serious than before.“They said their Alpha is looking for you.”Aria swallowed nervously.“I don’t even know why.”The voice inside her mind spoke again, calm but powerful.Because of what you are.Aria stiffened slightly.“What I am?” she whispered softly.Kael noticed her expression change.“Your wolf again?” he asked. She hesitated, then nodded.“It keeps talking to me.”Kael didn’t look surprised.“That usually h

The forest was silent as Aria followed Alpha Kael away from the clearing. The sounds of the pack slowly faded behind them—voices, whispers, the crackling of lantern flames—until nothing remained but the soft rustling of leaves beneath their feet.Aria’s heart still felt heavy. She had left without looking back. Her entire life had been inside the Shadow Moon Pack. Even though many of them had treated her badly, it was still the only home she had ever known. Now she was walking into the unknown with a man she had met only hours ago.Kael walked beside her confidently, his pace steady as if he had already made this journey many times before. After a few minutes, Aria finally broke the silence.“Where are we going?” she asked quietly.“To my territory,” Kael replied.Aria hesitated.“That’s… far from here, isn’t it?”Kael nodded.“Three days if we travel normally. One day if we run.”Aria blinked in surprise.“Run?”Kael glanced at her briefly, amusement flickering in his silver eyes.“I

Even now, a faint warmth lingered deep inside her chest, like a sleeping fire that could awaken again at any moment.Damon broke the silence first.“You expect me to just let you walk away with her?” he asked coldly. His golden eyes burned with anger as he stared at Kael.Kael didn’t even look concerned.“Yes,” he replied calmly. The simple answer shocked the wolves surrounding them.Damon laughed harshly.“You really are arrogant, Ravenwood.”Kael tilted his head slightly, his silver eyes sharp.“No,” he said. “Just honest.”The two Alphas stared at each other again, their dominance pressing heavily against the clearing.
