- Vienna's POV -

I panicked as the heat surged violently... spreading through my veins until I screamed louder, my voice raw.

The vampires who bit me shrieked in horror as flames engulfed them, their bodies burning to ash before my wide, disbelieving eyes.

I stared at my hands... glowing, flaring, alive with fire. My whole body burned with a terrifying, uncontrollable power...

The leader released me, fear etched into his pale face. "What are you!?"

I don't know... I had no answer. Suddenly, a picture of the little girl on fire which I always saw in my dream snapped into me... it was the same as mine.

I stumbled backward, my flaming hands trembling, my mind blank with terror. I hadn't even realized my heel slipped off the cliff's edge until the ground gave way beneath me.

I fell, as I was falling... the wind roared in my ears, but all I could see was her... her anger and the flames in her body... she was like me... wait-

Was she me? Then... who was that boy?

The fire vanished as the cold air swallowed me whole.

And for the first time, I welcomed death. Maybe this was my release. Maybe, finally... I could rest.

---

"We'll see each other again... my Princess."

It was this dream again... His words repeated in my mind, But something was different this time. The boy I always saw in my dreams was now... staring directly at me. It felt as if he was talking to me.

I looked around, my eyes searching for the little girl, but she was nowhere. Only empty space stretched before me.

Then suddenly, the boy ran. Straight toward the burning house.

My chest tightened. “No! Don’t go there!” I shouted but he didn’t hear me.

The explosion came next, louder and hotter than I had ever imagined. The fire spread, consuming everything as smoke filled the air.

I closed my eyes... this was just a dream, I said to myself.

Then... I opened my eyes slowly. My body felt heavy, almost numb, like I had been sleeping for years.

The dream lingered in my mind, vivid and sharp, like it had actually happened. I could still feel the heat of the fire, still hear the boy’s voice. It haunted me, as it always did. I tried to shake it off, but the fear remained, deep inside my chest, twisting with something I could not name.

But... where am I?

My vision was blurry, I blinked a few times until shapes began to clear.

There, I saw a man and a woman stood beside me. They were dressed in fine clothes... clothes I had never seen before. Their crowns sparkled under the light, heavy and bright. Their faces were soft, smiling down at me kindly.

A king… and a queen?

My heart beat unevenly. Why would a king and queen be here?

I felt so tired. My body was heavy, and my eyes wanted to close again. I wanted to ask where I was, what was happening, but my lips would not move. My voice was gone, trapped in my throat.

The king and queen stepped aside slowly, like they were giving way for someone.

And then, I saw her.

My breath caught.

A girl walked toward me. No… not just a girl. A princess. She wore a beautiful gown that moved softly as she walked, and her crown was smaller but shining just the same. Her hair fell in waves down her shoulders. Her eyes… they looked just like mine. Her face… it was my face.

I froze.

Was I… looking at myself?

No, this was different. She looked like me, but stronger. Her eyes were like ice, I had never seen in mine. She was me… but not me.

Am I still in a dream?

That was the only thought I had. It had to be a dream. What else could it be?

But it felt too real. The ground under me was soft, like a bed. The air was warm. I could hear the faint sound of wind outside the room, the gentle crackle of fire from somewhere behind the walls. Dreams didn’t feel like this.

I swallowed hard. My throat burned. My limbs refused to respond. My eyes wanted to close again. I tried to push myself to move, to speak, to reach her... but my body was too weak.

The princess stopped in front of me. Her eyes, sharp and icy as she stared directly into mine. There was no warmth there, no softness, no kindness.

She lifted my hand and held it firmly. Her grip was strong, yet not cruel. Precise and controlled. I could even feel the chill of her touch.

“I will avenge you, my dear sister, Queen Luna,” she whispered, but... Her voice, it was too dark.

However, words struck me harder than anything.

Avenge? Sister? Queen Luna? What was she saying?

I wanted to speak, to ask her... to demand an explanation. But no words came.

My body was too weak... my eyelids were even heavier. My mind screamed with questions I couldn’t voice... Darkness was embracing me.

I closed my eyes again, letting the darkness completely take over.

  • The Rejected Queen Luna's Revenge   The Icy Princess

    - Alpha King Alfroid POV -“I cannot wait for that, Helena,” I said, yet my daughter stood unshaken, her expression carved from ice. Her stillness carried a sharp defiance, but beneath it, I sensed her hesitation.Helena’s refusal surprised me. She rarely cared for patience, much less for privacy. She was a creature of action, a predator who despised waiting. But now, when it came to her sister, she would endure the silence. That spoke volumes of her devotion to Heminica. But patience had abandoned me. I could not sit and watch her lie there, broken and unconscious. I needed to see the truth with my own eyes, to understand every wound and scar she carried, to atone for all the years I had failed as her father. I had been a king to the most powerful realm, yet I had not been a father to my eldest child, the rightful Crowned Queen Luna of all werewolves.“Call the hermit,” I ordered, my voice cutting through the heavy air.The servant bowed and vanished, hurrying to obey.Helena’s eyes

Past three in the morning. I hadn’t realized how quickly the hours had slipped away. The sound of hurried footsteps came from outside.“Let him enter,” I commanded, my voice low but edged with authority. The Royal Guard by the door obeyed at once. The servant stumbled in, his face pale and trembling. He bowed quickly, his words tumbling over themselves. “Your Majesty, we have found Princess Helena in the river! She was unconscious and wounded!”The air left my lungs. His panicked declaration was enough to hurl me from my chair. Without hesitation, I rushed down the corridors toward my daughter’s quarters.Impossible. My Helena... my daughter who was fierce, unyielding, and unt

  • The Rejected Queen Luna's Revenge   The Cursed

    - Froylan's POV -"Froy," my father's voice carried across the courtyard as I dismounted my horse. The towering gates of the castle loomed ahead, casting long shadows across the stone. He followed close behind, the Former Alpha of the Rigorou Mountain Pack... a man feared by many, respected by all... except me.I ignored him, leading my horse to the stables. The smell of hay and leather filled the air, but all I could think about was her."I'm talking to you, Froylan. Face me," he barked, his voice sharp, the kind that could freeze a room.I turned slowly, irritation simmering in my chest. "What?""Don't talk back to me," he snapped, the familiar edge in his tone slicing through the space between us.My patience thinned. "Then say what you want."He stepped closer, his eyes cold and calculating. "Is she your mate?"The question cut deeper than I expected. Her face flashed in my mind... bruised, filthy, yet still holding on like the world had tried to crush her and failed. The way her

  • The Rejected Queen Luna's Revenge   The Death

    - One week later - I woke up, weakening... that dream came back again... the fire, the screams, the boy's eyes looking at the girl like she was his whole world. Why do I keep dreaming about it?Was that my memory? I shook my head. Ahh! No matter what I do, I really can't remember anything...In this dark basement, I heard it again... the girl's voice.'Run.'I covered my ears despite my weakened arms, not wanting to hear her voice... because there was no way to run away from here. The door of the basement suddenly opened... it was so bright as my eyes blinked slowly... too weak to handle the sudden light. My body hurt everywhere. My lips were dry and cracked. It even hurt to open my mouth.Something was put on the floor near the door, but I could not see what it was. My eyes closed again before I could focus. "Mom said eat this, then take a bath. This room smells terrible. Make it fast so you can clean the house." It was Eloisa's voice, hurried as she left, leaving the door wide op
