Amante POV
The world seems to stand still. I feel numb and dull.
I lost Marina. And now I am about to lose my mate. I would be alone, once again. I feel terrified of my future without anybody to lean on or look forward to. It feels like everything has gone back the way it was before.
The familiar emotions filled with agony and pain on that fateful day when I lost my family, my pack, and my kingdom is taunting me once more. My life isn’t fair and I don’t deserve this. I am more of what destiny wanted me to be. I am born to conquer and I shall not falter.
