At The Palace

After George and Tim calmed the old man down, he stood aside and watched Jerry and Collins as they removed their things from the bus. When they attempted to take them to the parlor, he stopped them.

“Don't over labor yourselves. We will soon go to the hotel with them,” he advised them.

The confused Sergeants stopped in their tracks and Tim looked at George. He understood the look and decided to break the news to him.

“Kindly come with me, Dad. I want to show you something,” he requested.

He looked at him worriedly but complied. They hardly took a step when Francis appeared and welcomed them one after the other.

The old man was confused. He looked at him and asked, “What are you doing here, Francis?”

Instead of responding, he looked into his eyes and smiled. George moved and he followed him.

“What is he doing here, Son?” He asked desperately as they walked on.

“We will soon find out,” he answered him and climbed the staircase.
