At Tim's House

After he rebuffed George and covered his duvet over his head, he felt good. He expected that he would knock on the door again but he did not. After waiting for a while, he perceived that he had returned to his room and was disappointed.

"I have angered him," he said and got up.

He was disturbed and asked himself, "What do I do?"

He picked up his phone to call him but changed his mind.

"He won't pick up the call. There is no need," he said to himself and dropped the idea.

He turned on the television, just to keep him busy. The war film reminded him of Brig. Witherspoon and the threat from the South Coast. He pouted and picked up Gen. Hanklin's phone.

"Stupid country. They will learn their lesson the hard way," he said and swiped the phone.

He saw a few new messages and tapped the older ones. He smiled when he saw Ambrose's suicide note to him. He was pleased to know that he had not spoken with him after he recovered.

"He has truly repented and loyal to Canterbury," he

At Laura Dickson-Williams' Bedroom“I will goad him into a fight and leave this marriage based on domestic violence. I don't understand why he will not accept my proposal to end the marriage,” the twenty-one-year-old Laura resolved. She woke up and sadly remembered that she had scores to settle with her poor, twenty-five-year-old husband, Tim Williams. “We are no more in the same league. I want to marry a real man and not a penniless and classless man,” she said to herself and angrily got up from her bed. “How can I meet a real man if I continue to be the wife of a scumbag?” she cursed. Likewise, she threw her duvet off her and tried to get out of bed but halted when the door opened. She glared at Tim who walked in to check on her. “It's time for work, Laura,” he informed her. “So, you know work but you can't get one for yourself? You wretched pauper," she glared at him and yelled. Tim smiled softly and gave his regular response, “I will work when the time comes.” His lais

The Broadcast — At The House After the security team and Laura left for the hospital, Tim dabbed his swollen eyes, shrugged his shoulders, and began to eat. He was about to leave the dining table when he saw the news on the television: (Laura Dickson-Williams was beaten up by her lazy husband, Tim Williams, for getting a job for him and she suffered a miscarriage.) “Oh! When did I beat her?” He exclaimed and ran his hand through his head which was spinning already. Likewise, he stared vacantly in amazement. Now, he reminisced about his past. Since he escaped from his jealous superior, Gen. Sydney McDonald who wanted to kill him because he defeated their enemies during the last war, he had been hiding. His higher-ups thought that he was dead and promoted his jealous superior to the rank of a General. In addition to that, he became the Chairman of the Auxiliary Armory PLC and Laura's boss. Now, the publicity had aroused their curiosity. “Does she hate me this much? Has she forg

In the spur-of-the-moment, Laura, her parents, and the Human Rights Activists ran out of the house and met her astounded security men. The pressmen were still hiding their heads and could not explain how the soldiers left. “What is the matter? I heard gunshots,” Laura asked curiously and looked at the military helicopter that had taken off. “They shot him,” a pressman raised his head and answered. “Oh, my God! I am unaware that they would arrive so soon and pick him up,” Laura boasted. Now, the pressmen were getting up one after the other and had to give an account of what they did not witness, even if it meant cooking up stories. “They have killed him. The Head of State has zero tolerance for domestic violence.” “Yes. Violence against women, especially pregnant women, angers him,” a reporter confirmed. “It serves him right,” her father pointed out and his befuddled wife lurched forward and castigated him, “Oh, dear! He died a painful and shameful death.” “Yes. Our daughter g

“You don't deserve it but I would rather not be like you. There will be no difference between us if I cause your children and wife to mourn. On this note, I reduce your punishment to compulsory retirement. You will get all your entitlements.”“Wonderful!”“Excellent!” “This is godly.”“I don't know if I can forgive a known enemy like this.”The soldiers complimented Tim's judgment one after the other. Likewise, Gen. McDonald was most grateful and he dried the tears that had formed in his eyes while everyone focused on him. Although he was seventeen years older than Tim he was aware that his promotion had nothing to do with age but merit.“You are a worthy comrade, Gen. Williams and you surpass me in wisdom. For sparing me, I owe you my life. I'm ready to support you any time you need me,” he appreciated Tim and promised. The house clapped for him and immediately, he faced the Head of State and appreciated him, “Thank you, for this chance, Your Excellency.”He faced the entire house a

“That is good. Kindly go on,” the Head of State requested when he paused and he continued. “The enemies were no match for us and we chased after them. To my joy and Gen. McDonald's annoyance, none of them escaped. Although he showed delight, I never knew it was fake. Meanwhile, I and the other soldiers concentrated on reviving our wounded colleagues. Some were badly injured and died on the spot.”“So sad!” Gen. Hill exclaimed and Tim continued.“At that point, we had run out of drugs and needed to get the victims back to the city. On the road, I requested that we stop so that I could get some marine animals and ocean plants to revitalize our men. Gen. McDonald followed me and I did not suspect anything until he shot at me and I fell into the ocean.”“Oh, my goodness! Did you suffer all these just to save your country and fellow soldiers?”“Yes, Your Excellency.”“That is true patriotism,” Gen. Hill stated and requested, “Kindly go on.”“No. We will stop here today. She screamed. At that point, Pa Dickson was favored. He got up quickly and descended on his wife. He punched her face several times while she kept shouting. When he was satisfied, he let go of her and cursed, "Stupid woman. I will teach a lesson that you will never forget."Laura pushed her mother aside and got up angrily."So, this is your plan? At The Complex Laura got up and walked to the door like a bulldog. The Corporal and warden gave way for her or she would have pounced on them. With that, she increased her offenses, and Jerry cashed in and whipped her legs with the horsewhip."Repeat after me, Miss Dickson. Say I will not disturb the peace of the complex again," he requested while flogging her."I will never disturb .... Hey!" She stopped and shrieked in pain.Jerry continued to flog her, and she continued to cry and repeat after him."Run for your life before I kill you. Silly girl," he shouted at her and she obeyed. George was happy to see her running out of the cell like a little mouse frightened out of the Queen's chair. She continued running towards the reception when Jerry joined George in the car and he turned on his ignition."Good job, Sergeant," he said and drove off.Nevertheless, she got to the lobby, and the new security team was surprised to see her running like a thief."What! What are you doing here?

He would have called Cpl. Simpson, who was on night duty, to release her, but it would not give him the satisfaction he wanted. Shortly after, he stormed out of his room, got the car keys from the hangar, and walked to the garage. His car alerted Collins and Jerry the moment he turned on his ignition. They walked out of the boys quarters and focused on him."We are going to the complex. Hop in if you are ready," he informed them. They were troubled and did not want to keep him longer than necessary. Jerry was on his khaki pants and camouflage shirt. Collins was putting on the same shirts upon knickers and was not comfortable with it."I will change to trousers," he said and walked away.Jerry got into the front seat, looked at George's sad face, and inquired, "I hope there's no problem?""The boss said we should release that wrench in the guard room.""Ha! He furrowed his brow when he saw her in the kitchen preparing her dinner."Why doesn't she live in a big house and have security guards and a cook like Laura? At least a cook," he thought."Something should be done about it," he concluded. After he left the parlor, George sat on the couch to wait for him. At that point, he got a message from his father. He relaxed and punched on it. A wide smile covered his face while he was reading through it."She will never stay without trouble," he said when he read that Laura was arrested that morning. In the end, he said, "She would soon be working to finance bills that she incurred out of stupidity."At that point, Tim joined him and they walked to the dining table."How was your meeting with the Major General?" "It went well. Empress has grown lean," he pointed out and George was lost."What has Empress got to do with your meeting?" He asked him at once."Oh! I didn't inform you. The meeting was because of them. She fought with her instructor

To extricate herself, she answered at once, "No, Sir.""Then what happened? Don't keep me here longer than I wish," Dale thundered, and she was fear-stricken. "I apologize, Boss. I agreed with her and watched her walk to her husband. When she was sitting with him in the car, I called Mrs Bentley and showed her the two. She was surprised to see them discussing freely. When she returned, Mrs. Bentley did not bother to verify whether it was true or false."She stopped and looked at Richard who had killing intentions on his face. Tim was relishing the story and hated it when she stopped. He hit his hand on the table angrily and shouted at her, "Then what happened?"Although, they were not familiar with Tim's identity they believed that he was an important person to Dale.Instantly, she continued, "She gave her a knife hand strike. Before she could defend herself, she struck her with her shinbone and they began to fight."They focused on Empress who was still looking down. They compared
