Chapter 19

Louie was struck by those words, which he thought foolish and cruel.

He shortened the distance between the two, and spoke the following words:

" You are on a dangerous path, and you will fail without me."

" Just go away, and watch me win."

Louie withdrew from her office and Rosalie sat in her presidency chair.

Seconds after being left alone she had a crying fit that lasted a few minutes.

Rosalie looked at Duncan’s portrait on the wall, and realized she needed to be strong.

The woman began working to find a way to leverage the company’s parts sales by talking on the phone with several companies hoping to get support, but was unsuccessful.

Hours later her secretary knocked on the door and Rosalie let her in.

" I didn’t want to interrupt, but a motoboy left this letter here, addressed to you."

Rosalie waved for her to approach, and Eleanor left the letter in her hands and withdrew:

The woman looked at the letter and saw that there was no name of the sender, only for whom it was intended.
