Lenora's Point Of View

“Wanna go downstairs for lunch?” Zade asked me after some hours of staying in bed, but I shook my head.

“No. I'm not hungry.” I responded and he nodded slowly. It's surprising how we didn't go down for breakfast. Well, we'd spent the whole time sleeping in each other's arms and now we weren't planning to go downstairs for lunch either.

“I'm not hungry either.” He whispered quietly. The room went back to its usual silence, save for the sound of the humming air conditioner. We were both lost in our world and I'll give anything to know what was running through Zade's head. It was always hard to tell what he was thinking.

But he finally broke the silence. “I have something else in mind. Want to know about it?”

My lips curled into a smile. “Yes, Zade. Go ahead. I'm all ears.”

“You know, I think I owe you a better honeymoon. You know ours was cut short by the stupid meeting and it wouldn't make sense if I didn't give you a better one. What do you say?” He a

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   GO BACK TO YOUR LOVER

Lenora's Point Of View That I am Zade's lover? That word replayed in my head over and over again as I sat on the mat, staring at nothing in particular. The woman, whose name I got to know was Regina, had told me that she was Zade's secret lover, that he's been hiding her away from me so I don't get to know about his damn infidelity. I never wanted to believe her, because I know how desperate a woman could be. I mean women can go to any extent just to destroy another woman's relationship. They'd want to do everything to come in between two lovers, but at the same time, I had no choice but to believe her. She sounded so genuine. “Don't tell me you'll believe that bitch's words?” Zoey chided softly. “Of course, Zoey. She wasn't telling lies. It was evident that she wasn't lying. “Come on, Lenora. Why would you want to believe her words? Isn't it obvious that she's a lying bitch?” “We both know that she wasn't telling lies, Zoey. Because tell me why she showed up today of all d

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   MELISSA'S BIRTH MOTHER

Damien's Point Of View “Help! Someone please!” The frantic cry tore through the quiet Pack House, jolting me from my afternoon meditation. ‘That voice’…. I said to myself. “It sounds familiar. Where is it coming from?” “Help me please.” The familiar voice came again and I needed no soothsayer to tell me who it belonged to. I was on my feet in an instant, my heart hammering against my ribs as I sprinted towards Melissa's bedroom to see what was wrong with her. The door was ajar, and as I burst through, the sight that greeted me stole the air from my lungs. Melissa lay on the bed, her face ghostly pale, clutching her swollen belly. A sharp gasp escaped my lips as I watched the scene. A dark red stain spread quickly beneath her, soaking into the sheets. “Lisa?” I choked out, as I quickly rushed to her side. “What the hell happened to you?” “I…. I don't know what happened.” She whispered, tears welling in her eyes, her voice barely audible over the sudden roar in my ears. A pro

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   ZADE'S SECRET LOVER

Lenora's Point Of View “How do you feel?” Zade inquired as he took my hands into his and gave it a gentle squeeze. And a small smile crept its way to my face. “I feel so good.” I replied truthfully and he nodded slowly. “Yeah, you should.” He winked at me and a deep hue spread across my face. “Do you like it here?” He asked, his eyes darting around the area. “I love it here, Zade.” I responded. “I love the pool, the beach. Gosh, I love everything here.” We were currently sitting on the bench very close to the beach. Even though we haven't spent a long time here, the few hours we'd been here had been memorable. Zade had made it worthwhile. Every moment spent with him had always been worth it and somehow I wished that we'd just remain like this forever, as normal people. He shouldn't be an Alpha and I shouldn't be Luna. We should just be normal people. But I was grateful for the fact that he didn't let his responsibility and the throne come in between us. He made sure that I neve

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   NOW I'M BACK

Zade's POV I watched her in awe as she ran to the bathroom. I slid over to her side of the bed so it would stay warm, like she'd said earlier. I found it funny that she could command me even without trying so hard! I can't believe that I was doing what she said. Indeed this was love could make you do. Other times I wouldn't have bothered to run back to the Pack, but yesterday, I did it. Karl was surprised too. He knows how much I stay over at Tyrone City whenever we go for any meeting, just to clear my head a bit, before coming back to the Pack, to resume my Alpha duties. But it was different yesterday. I couldn't wait to come back home. I couldn't wait to wrap this little woman in my arms again. She was home. She was one person that I'll never trade for anything in the world. Not even my wedding to Colton's daughter would make me let her out of my sight. Never! I watched the bathroom doorway, anticipating her return. She walked back out of the bathroom, and in that moment I

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   THOSE VOWS

Two days later. Lenora's Point Of View I laid there, snuggled up in my blanket. My eyes started to blink open. The alarm had not quite screamed at me, to make me wake up from my slumber. And somehow I was grateful for that, because I didn't want to get my day started just yet. Not when my mate was lying beside me. Ah! The relief I had when he came back from the ‘shitty’ Alpha's Summit. He didn't even tell me that he was coming back. He was right when he said he wanted to surprise me. His bed, which was always cold without him, was finally back to its former warmth and I can never be more happier. I've fucking missed him and I know he did too. The way he made love to me, the way he held me like he didn't want to let me out of his sight, was proof enough of how much he missed me. It was a cold morning and I was really pressed, but every time I thought about getting out of bed to pee, the warmth of my blanket pulled me back in. I rolled over, snuggling up to Zade while he sl
