I CAN'T LET HER GO

Lenora's POV

The maid tried to hit me back, but at that point, the door swung open and someone walked in, causing her hands to freeze mid-air.

I tilted my head to the side to see who it was. It was a man, someone I hadn't seen before.

He stands tall at around 6'4" with a robust, athletic build that somehow commanded attention. His broad shoulders and chiseled chest are evident even under his clothes. Just one glance at him, one would tell that he has been working out tirelessly. His biceps are well-defined.

He has piercing blue eyes that sparkle with warmth and a straight proportional nose that adds to his overall symmetry.

“What's going on here?” His voice boomed over the room and instantly, the maid brought her hand down. Even though I didn't know the man, I could tell that he was someone whom one shouldn't mess with.

The aura emanating from him was unmistakable. Hence the reason why the maid looked scared already.

She cleared her throat before starting. “Greetin

Lenora's POV Oh my gosh! I can't seem to remember the way to my room anymore! I couldn't even go back to the kitchen. Therefore, I decided to find my way to my room. It doesn't matter if I have to go through every room, one after the other until I find mine. I roamed through the unfamiliar hallway, like someone who lost her way. “Of course you did.” My wolf whispered and I burst into laughter. I couldn't help it. “You are not even helping matters at all, Zoey,” I said amidst my chuckles. “I'm as confused as you. I don't know anywhere around, therefore I can't help you. I'm sorry, okay?” “Yeah, I'll try. It's gonna take a long time, but I'll try my best. We will try” I muttered under my breath as I continued to walk away. All the doors in this estate were identical, so it's gonna be hard to locate my room, but I was determined to try. I took the stairs and stopped right in front of a door. Before I knew it, I pushed open the door and slipped inside. At that point, I reali

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   THE ALPHA'S SEDUCTION

Lenora's POV Alpha Zade stood before me, stark naked, his chiseled physique on full display. My eyes darted wildly around his body, taking in the tattoo that covered part of his chest and left arm. His tattoo was the same as the symbol I had seen on the signboard earlier. ‘Two daggers crossed over its forehead, their blades adorned with ancient runes.’ Alpha Zade's tattoo, a symbol of his Pack's heritage, seemed to glow in the room's dim light, a reminder of his strength and authority and power. My gaze kept drifting back to his groin, where his huge dick seemed to be staring at me, making it hard for me to concentrate. A low rumble escaped his lips and I felt my face burning with embarrassment as I tried to tear my eyes away from his member, but they seemed to have a mind of their own. “Alpha
. Alpha Zade!” I stuttered, trying to compose myself, but just like the first time, my eyes betrayed me, drifting back to his naked body, tracing the outlines of his chest, h

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   FORBIDDEN DOORS

Lenora's POV The next morning, I woke up to the gentle tapping on the door, the sound echoing through the room. I stretched and yawned, but I didn't have any plans to leave the bed because I assumed that it was Alpha Zade. I didn't want to face him. At least not after what happened last night. I don't think I can face him this early. “Who is there?” I asked just to make sure he wasn't the one. “Good morning my Luna. This is Lucia, the head maid,” Lucia said with a warm voice. My lips curved into a smile when I realized that it wasn't Alpha Zade. I tossed off the covers and swung my legs over to the side of the bed, feeling the soft and plush carpet beneath my feet. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes as I made my way to the door. I opened it to find Lucia standing in the hallway, a warm smile on her oval shaped face. “Good morning, Ma'am Lucia–” “Please call me Lucia,” She cut me off, that warm smile still on her face. “Sure, Lucia. What can I help you with?” “I'

Lenora's POV I stared at the mysterious door, my mind racing with different questions. What could be inside? Why was Lucia so adamant that she couldn't show me? I felt a shiver run down my spine as I wondered if I was missing out on something important. Her words replayed in my mind: “The King has ordered that no one should ever be allowed in there.” What could they be hiding? I stood there for a moment, my eyes transfixed on the door. I felt a sudden urge to open it, to know what was inside, but Lucia's warning echoed in my mind and I hesitated. Plus the door was locked! Unlike other doors which weren't. “I'll take my leave now, my Luna. Please don't hesitate to tell me if you need anything” Lucia bowed before walking away, leaving me alone in the hallway. I watched her leave, feeling a wave of frustration wash over me. Why couldn't she just tell me what was going on? I sighed and turned away from the door, deciding to head back to my room. I couldn't shake off the f

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   FIGHTING BACK

Lenora's POV My eyes narrowed as I took in the smug expression on my step-sister's face. Her blonde hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall, but her smile was more of a snarl, revealing perfectly white teeth. What a coincidence! Why do I have to see this bitch today of all days? “Melissa,” I spat, my voice dripping with disdain. “What are you doing here?” “Where have you been, sister? We have all been worried sick about you.” Her voice sounded sweet, but I wasn't buying it. She was never worried about me. It's evident that she was only trying to taunt me like she has always done. I scoffed loudly in annoyance, rolling my eyes. “Don't pretend like you were worried about me, Melissa. We both know that you are not,” The next minute, she burst into laughter. The sound of her laughter sent a shiver down my spine. “You are right, Lenora. I wasn't worried about you. Not one bit. In fact, I was even glad that you left” Her eyes were filled with malice and her hatred for me. S

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   SHE IS WITH SOMEONE ELSE

Alpha Axel's POV “Don't you think you went overboard by sending Luna Lenora away?” My Beta asked just when we were returning to the pack house. “What do you mean by that?” I stopped walking and a sigh escaped his lips. “Nothing really. I just don't like the fact that you sent her away, just like that without any money to take care of herself while ignoring her countless sacrifices for our pack. That was uncalled for,” “Are you trying to tell me how to act in my own pack?” “No, not at all. Alpha. I can never tell you how to run your pack. I was just wondering. You know how much Luna Lenora has taken care of you, taken care of the pack, acted like a true Luna, but Luna Melissa is not even making any attempts to act like a Luna,” He said and I shot him a glare. “How does a true Luna act, Derek?” “Taking care of the pack, serving the people and not just sitting at home doing nothing like your new Luna. That's how a ‘true Luna’ acts,” He said, placing emphasis on the true

Axel's POV “That wouldn't be necessary, Beta. Lenora is with someone else now!” The familiar voice repeated and I turned around to see who it belonged to. It was none other than my pregnant Luna. “What do you mean by that, Melissa?” I asked as I took a step towards her, my heart pounding in my chest, even though I couldn't tell why it was beating fast. Why was I worried that she was already with someone else? Clearly, I don't regret sending her away, right? “Greetings, My Alpha,” She greeted with a slight bow and I nodded. I took her hands in mine and gave it a gentle squeeze. “Greetings to you too, my Luna. Care to tell me what you meant by that?” “Lenora is with someone else now.” She repeated and my brows furrowed in question. “Are you sure about this?” I inquired. “Yes, my Alpha. I bumped into her at the mall today.” She answered. “Wait a minute. Who is she with?” I asked. I could see the shock register on Derek's face too. Somehow I was glad that she was

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   HE WOULD NEVER RISK HIS POSITION

Melissa's POVI lay on my bed, surrounded by the remnants of my shattered hearts. The soft breeze blowing through the window was enough to calm me down on a normal day, but today, it did nothing to calm me down. Tears streamed down my face, soaking into the pillow as I replayed the hurtful conversation I had with him earlier:“The fact that I was the one who took Lenora's virginity on my bed is more than enough reason to trust her. If she wanted to cheat on me, trust me, I wouldn't have met her as a virgin.” What are you insinuating, Axel? Are you trying to say that since I wasn't a virgin when we met, I have a tendency to cheat on you?"I said what I said, Melissa" How could he say such a thing to me? I am Luna and the mother of his child for heaven's sake! How could he just disrespect me like that? I was still lost in my thoughts when the door creaked open and my mother walked in, a smile etched on her face. She had a bowl of freshly baked cookies on her hands and a glass o

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   DO NOT TRY ANYTHING FUNNY

Princess Lara's Point Of View It's either now or never. I can't let my father dictate my life for me. I have someone I love and I won't let him ship me like I'm some goods to a beast like Alpha Zade. “Relax, Lara. You shouldn't call him a beast yet. You haven't had any dealings with him.” Lyra said to me, but I rolled my eyes. “Trust me, Lyra, he's a beast. No one has ever come in contact with him and survived it. He is.” “Well, you wouldn't say that unless someone had. So relax. He might not even be as bad as you painted him.” “I don't care to know, Lyra. I can't get married to him. I have to leave.” “Come on, Lara, don't do something that you are gonna regret later.” she pleaded, but I turned deaf ears to her pleas and before I could help it, I bolted for the door. But that was the worst mistake I've ever made in my life, because the next minute, I felt a sharp pain in my neck. I needed no soothsayer to tell me that it was my father. “Your Majesty

Wincing, I grabbed my temples, in an effort to alleviate the pain, but it did nothing to help the pain. I gazed around the room trying to recall how I ended up here and almost immediately, the memories hit me like a wave. I gritted my teeth in anger. That bitch! • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   THIRD WHEEL

Princess Lara's Point Of View (6) Today is Alpha Zade's Mating ceremony? I couldn't believe my ears. No, I didn't want to believe it. “Are you sure about this, Sara?” “Yes, my Princess. The news was published on the television. And it was announced by a verified Blog, therefore I have a feeling that it's true. Today is indeed his mating ceremony.” Wait a minute. Alpha Zade has a mate, yet he has decided to get married to me? Or did he not care about his mate's feelings? Did the poor woman, whoever she is, even have any idea that her mate was getting married to the Princess of Samaria Pack in the next full moon night? “What if she knows about it, yet she still agreed to it?” Lyra mumbled? “She might love him and wouldn't mind. Don't you think so?” Goodness! I don't want to believe that she'll really agree to it. I took my attention back to Sara. “Who is the woman in question?” “Her name wasn't published, nor was her picture uploaded either.” She replied and I rolled my eyes. C

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   IS HE DEAD?

Princess Lara's Point Of View (5) “And where the hell are you coming from, Lara?” A familiar voice sounded behind me just when I was about to go into my room and I rolled my eyes. What exactly is this bitch trying to gain? She isn't even the Queen yet she's already acting like an all-powerful bitch. As usual, I ignored her and made to enter my room, but her filthy hands shot out and stopped me. Anger washed over me, but I didn't turn to face her. “Take those filthy hands off me right now!” I hissed through gritted teeth and almost immediately, she let go of me. She didn't need to be told twice. Now I turned around to face her. “What were you saying, Morana?” “I'm sure you aren't deaf. Where the hell were you coming from? Have you gone to meet your lover again?” What the hell has gone into this bitch? How could she be so stubborn and deaf at the same time? My father has warned her to refrain from getting involved in matters that don't concern her, yet she never seems to listen.

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   ZARA AND GIANNA

Princess Lara's Point Of View (4) I tried calling Dexter's phone, but it didn't go through and therefore I decided to let him be and call him later. Since I was bored, I decided to take a walk around the palace walls. “Sara?” I called my personal maid and she came running to meet me. “Yes, my Princess.” As usual, she had a smile on her face. I must boldly say she is the one person who has taught me to smile. I emulated the habit of smiling from her. I could remember that day she came into the Kingdom for the first time. Even when she still worked as an ordinary maid, she had a smile on her face. “I want to take a stroll around the Pack. Mind joining me?” It wasn't an order like other Princess would have done. It was a request. Boy, I rarely order her around. And she never fails to remind me that I was her master and thus I have every right to do whatever I want with her, but I don't ever want to do that. After all, my mother never did. That was one reason why she was loved by

I thought there were guards at the gate at all times! “What the fuck are you doing here, Derek?” I hissed through gritted teeth, but he ignored me. “I do not agree with the union.” Derek repeated as he sauntered closer. “I'd rather die than let this union go on.” “Too bad you don't tell us what to do.” I hissed. “I have always loved you, Lenora. Now you are getting married to someone else?” I rolled my eyes. “You fool. He is my mate!” I snapped and he burst into laughter. “He may be your mate, but I'm sure he doesn't love you the way I do. Talia's POV I jolted awake as violent knocking pounded against my door. With a loud groan, I dragged myself out of bed, my mind still foggy with sleep. Just who the hell is banging on my door like a madman and at such an hour? I wasn't expecting any visitors, therefore who could it be? “Open the fucking door, Talia!!!” My mother's voice tore me away from my thoughts and my brows knitted into a frown. By the gods, what is she doing here? “I think the question should be how did she find you here?” My wolf corrected and I nodded in agreement. How did she find me here? I'd made sure I didn't go back home to meet her immediately I got back to the Pack, because I wanted to stay away from her forever. I feared that she'd trace my location and find out where I'm living. But now, she's standing outside my door? How? I contemplated on opening the door for her, because I didn't want to set my eyes on her ever again, but after figuring out that she's disturbing the neighbours, I deci
