Lenora's Point Of View

I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant. Yes. I am. I took my hands to my flat stomach and caressed it softly. I still can't believe it. I am actually pregnant.

“Congratulations,” Zoey whispered, her voice filled with pride and excitement. “I can't believe it.”

“I can't believe it either, Zoey.” I was declared barren and infertile. I mean the doctors made it clear to me that I'll never be able to conceive, but here I am, pregnant and expecting my child.

My eyes watered at the realization. “Thank you.” Those words were directed to the moon goddess. I've always thought that she hated to see me happy. But it seems that I was wrong. She never hated to see me happy. She was just waiting for the perfect time to bless me. And she already did.

“Thank you so much, moon goddess.” I repeated. “I wish I could hug you right now.”

“Excuse me, ma'am,” The driver's voice tore through my thoughts and I took my attention to him.

“Yes, Pedro?”

“I know I shouldn't be doing this, bu

Melissa's Point Of View One word! Just one fucking word. That's all it takes for me to have Axel wrapped around my fingers. That's all it fucking takes for him to do whatever I want. And he'll do it without hesitation. Gosh! He's such a fool. I mean can six diviners be telling lies at the same time? It is very obvious that they were telling the truth. In fact, I had my doubts that people were dying because of my son. But Axel? He's such a fool. He never stopped to think about it. “I'll carefully find more diviners for you.” I whispered as I continued to work my fingers on his shoulders. A satisfied purr rumbled in my heart as I heard him hiss. “I don't need any diviner. They're all liars.” He said through clenched teeth. “I'm sorry, my Alpha. It's just that I want to find out what's wrong with our son. I don't want him to die.” One would have thought that I was trying to plead with him to call another set of diviners. But man. That's not the case. I'll never ask him to find anot

Axel's Point Of View “They're here, your Majesty!” Felix's voice sounded behind me and slowly, I turned around to stare at him. He's back so soon? I didn't expect him to find these diviners so fast. “How many did you come with?” I asked him while I made my way to the door. “I brought five with me. They're all from different clans. I can assure that they don't know each other. Therefore you didn't have to worry about them lying to you.” I understood what he meant carefully. There were a lot of diviners that were liars. They'll all say different things. “Take me to them, Felix. I haven't got time to waste.” My people are dying. I need to find out what's actually wrong. Lady Claudia would have been called earlier, to tell us what could be wrong with the Pack, but she's no longer a member of my Pack. After that incident at the Courtroom, she decided to go rogue, rather than stay in the Pack. At first, I thought she was behind the attack that was disturbing my Pack. But along the

Melissa's Point Of View “I'm sorry, your Majesty, we can't tell what's wrong with your son. We couldn't find it.”. The doctor announced. Those were the same words that other doctors have been saying. ‘They can't tell what's wrong with my son.’. And to think that he was the fourth doctor that we've invited to the house. “For fuck sake, what do you mean you can't tell what's wrong with my son, huh?” Axel screamed in anger. “I'm sorry, your Majesty, but I did try every diagnosis that I could come up with. But it just doesn't state what's wrong with him.” “Goodness!” I cried as I stared at my son. He was already conscious now and that was something to be happy about. But I wasn't. What was the need of being happy when he's looking like a strange baby? It's evident that he was gonna die. He's covered with goosebumps. His head was hot and so was his body. And his eyes? Gosh! They were red. How could a baby that young possibly have red eyes? It doesn't make sense. I've never se

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   HE'S UNCONSCIOUS

Melissa's Point Of View “Please come with me,” One of the maids cried as she walked into my room. I took my eyes away from the book in my hands and turned to face them. “What's wrong?” I asked her and she just exhaled. “Please come with me.” She cried and I rolled my eyes. “What is it, Aria?” I asked again. “If it's not something important, can you leave, please?” “It's the prince.” She answered and immediately, my heart stilled. My son? “What's wrong with him?” “I don't know. I went to his room some minutes ago, and he's….” Before she could finish her words, I rose up from the bed, ready to go meet him. What could be the problem? In no time, I got to his room to check on him. I carried him from his cot and the first thing I noticed was his strange body temperature. He was really hot. My brows darkened with confusion. “What's wrong with him?” I demanded, but she shook her head. “I have no idea, my Luna.” She answered. “I just came to feed him and I realised that he's…

Lenora's Point Of View “We're sorry about that, my Luna, but she was proving stubborn. She didn't want to leave peacefully when we asked her to…” The guard started, but I shot him a harsh glare which shut him up immediately. “The next time you refer to her or any woman as a bitch, trust me, I'll have your heads. Now get back to work.” I warned before taking my attention back to the woman in front of me. Lara. And her daughter. “I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, Lara.” I quickly apologised to her. “I'm really sorry for their incompetence. I'll make sure it never happens again.” She placed her hands over mine. “It's fine, my Luna. It's not your fault, Luna….” “Please call me Lenora.” I cut her off. “We’re friends, okay?” She nodded slowly. “Okay.” My eyes traveled to the little girl, her daughter. She hasn't taken her eyes off my belly. “Hi, Natara?” I crouched down to her height. “How are you doing today?” “The Prince is here.” She said as she pointed to my belly. Months
