Princess Lara's Point Of View (4)

I tried calling Dexter's phone, but it didn't go through and therefore I decided to let him be and call him later. Since I was bored, I decided to take a walk around the palace walls.

“Sara?” I called my personal maid and she came running to meet me.

“Yes, my Princess.” As usual, she had a smile on her face. I must boldly say she is the one person who has taught me to smile. I emulated the habit of smiling from her. I could remember that day she came into the Kingdom for the first time. Even when she still worked as an ordinary maid, she had a smile on her face.

“I want to take a stroll around the Pack. Mind joining me?” It wasn't an order like other Princess would have done. It was a request. Boy, I rarely order her around. And she never fails to remind me that I was her master and thus I have every right to do whatever I want with her, but I don't ever want to do that.

After all, my mother never did. That was one reason why she was loved by

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   YOU AREN'T A HUMAN

Talia's POV “I don't fucking care if it's raining or not, Talia.” Zade hissed in annoyance. “Now get the fuck out of here.” I can't just leave like that. I need to come up with something. But what should it be? “Think Talia. Think.” Lyra urged me and I just scowled at her. “Don't you see that I'm trying to come up with something? You should even help me out with what to say to him.” I snapped and she just clamped her lips shut. Of course she should. I need to think. My lips curled into a smile as an idea popped into my head. How come I didn't think about this? Well, I just hope Zade buys it, because that man is one hell of a stubborn man. Before I could say anything, Zade beat me to it. “Are you deaf?” The man really doesn't want to have anything to do with me. It's possible that that bitch has been using some sort of black magic on him, because tell me why Zade will suddenly forget about the love we shared in the past, the moment she stepped into our lives? That's fucking

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   IT'S RAINING

Talia's Point Of View As soon as I got into the restroom, I made sure to bring out the so-called perfume from where I was hiding it. With a slow and deliberate step, I sprayed it around my body, to make sure everything circulates properly, according to how that old rogue had instructed. Rogue! You heard me right. I came in contact with a rogue all because of this perfume. I shouldn't associate with a rogue, because it was against the rules to ever associate with them. But who cares! To hell with the stupid rules. I did it for my own good. If I hadn't done it, I wouldn't have known how to go about my plans. So fuck the rules. I took my eyes to the small vial in my hand. According to Evelyn, the rogue, just a little quantity is enough to hypnotise a man, to make him fall for you. To her, it was more of a love potion than an aphrodisiac. At first, I told Evelyn that I wanted a drug, so I could put it in the drink that I planned to get for Zade, but deep down I knew that if I

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   MAKE HER LIFE MISERABLE

Talia's POV “What is this information about?” Zade asked as he stared at me with a look of anger. Or should I say irritation and disapproval? I guess he wasn't expecting me to come here. Anyways, whether he was expecting me or not, he has to deal with it. It is either today or never. I took a deep breath before starting. “Can I come in? It is one that I..” He didn't say anything. He just turned back into the room. Well, I caught the hint and walked behind him. He was a man of few words after all. “Speak!” He snarled in what I could describe as anger or maybe annoyance. “I don't have all day. Therefore don't you dare waste my time.” He added and I mentally rolled my eyes. If I want to get a little time with him, then I have to be patient. I have to deal with his arrogance. “Can you ask your Beta to leave, please?” I asked as I tilted my head towards Karl's direction. I have a feeling that if he was here, I wouldn't be able to do what I have planned to do. “You need to be ca

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   DON'T LET HER FOOL YOU

Zade's POV Now I was currently leaning on the rails of the balcony as I sipped the wine in my hands. Colton had left moments ago, retreating to his room under the guise of unfinished business. But we both knew the truth; some conversations were too heavy to carry for long. Now, it was just me. The silence. The next minute, I heard the front door opening and I needed no soothsayer to tell me that it was my Beta. He was the only one who would dare come into my room without knocking. I didn't bother to go meet him as I expected him to come meet me here and he did. “My Alpha.” He called out and I quickly let him know that I was at the balcony and he came to meet me. “What is it?” I asked without turning to face him. “I came to let you know that the suppliers from The Volt Pack have brought the goods into the Pack. They are currently waiting in the Warehouse.” He announced and I nodded slowly. “Ask Peters to let them in.” I said to him, my eyes still fixed on the ground bel

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   HIS FEARS

Zade's Point Of View “You don't have to keep reminding me of the wedding, Colton. It's not like I've forgotten about the wedding.” I let out a sharp scoff. The fact that he keeps reminding me about the wedding doesn't sit well with me for heaven's sake. “I knew that you didn't forget about it, Zade, I was only trying to….” “Fine.” I cut him off. “I get it. And I want to let you know that I haven't forgotten about it, okay?” He gave a slow nod, his gaze never leaving mine. "The wedding will happen as soon as this meeting ends, the moment we step back into our Packs. What do you say about it?” My pulse spiked at his words. "The full moon hasn’t even risen yet," I countered, my voice sharper than I intended. "We’re not doing this until after the full moon." A look of frustration crossed his face before he smoothed it away. "I know," he admitted, exhaling roughly. "But why wait? There’s no reason to drag it out.""There’s every reason," I shot back, my fingers curling into fis

  • The Rise Of The Betrayed Luna   MY MOTHER HATES HIM

Melissa's Point Of View I watched the time on my phone for the umpteenth time today. It was thirty minutes past seven and my mother wasn't back yet from wherever she went. Plus her phone wasn't going through. I haven't been able to reach her. I haven't been able to reach her through the mind link either. I was fucking worried about her. She wouldn't just leave like that. If I hadn't gone to her room earlier, I wouldn't have noticed that she was nowhere to be found. And according to the maids, none of them had seen her leave. Not even Laura. That was really strange because my mother would never leave the house without letting me know where she was going. The sound of someone knocking pulled me out of my thoughts and when I took my eyes to the door, I realised that it was Laura. “Can I come in, please?” She asked. One thing I loved about Laura was her ability to respect my decision and my privacy. She never crosses her boundaries with me even though we were more than best frien
