I was storming down the street not really caring where I was going. My legs were starting to ache and I was slowly starting to feel exhausted. Nolan carried Mikey for me on one side of his arm as we continued walking down the pier. People kept staring at us and our huge new furry friend. I let out a sigh. "I think this has been one of the best days of my life."We were heading towards a less crowded area wherr there was less noise. We could see more of the beach here. The water in the ocean was black and calm. Nolan smiled down at me. "Come on, let's sit down for a bit. You're starting to waddle like a penguine." "Hey." We were in a car park I didn't recognise. I looked around the dim and dingy place before snapping my head towards Nolan. "I swear Charlestone, if all these years, you've secretly been an axe murderer and you're finally going to murder me, I swear I will haunt you." Nolan scoffed and shook his head. "Okay, Sav." He spoke unaffected by my dramatic response. He opened his car door before jumping out. A few seconds later he was at my side opening my door. "Let's go." He nodded out the door. I gave him a suspicious look but knew I couldn't back down now. I mean, I had come all this way. We walked down a streer I don't think I had ever been down. It was already getting dark. Just after 7.30pm. I hugged my body looking around at excited looking strangers heading in the same direction we were. Kids with parents. Older and younger couples, groups of teenagers.
