Leah POV

My head hurt so much and my eyes stung from the light that penetrated the room. Everywhere ached so badly. I could still feel the stinging sensation on my cheeks as a result of the hard slaps the Alpha King landed on my face during his interrogation.

I didn't blame him entirely though, he was just scared and was only acting like a father. The only one to be blamed was Thomas. He was the two-time conniving schemer that made all this happen.
