My name is Ronan Draven, and I'm a rogue.

Once, I was nothing more than the messenger of Stormfang Pack.

Now, most of the Alphas operating in the shadows know me by another name.

The Grim Reaper.

My half-brother, Kael Draven, is the Alpha of Stormfang Pack, and his fated mate, Lyra Vale—now known as the Golden Luna—is one of the most powerful women I've ever known.

I'd always known her as the pack housekeeper while she called me the pack messenger.

For two years, everyone believed I was dead.

And maybe, in a way, I was.

I disappeared after making one of the most foolish and reckless mistakes of my life.

I trusted the wrong man... Jacob Draven.

Our uncle.

The Rogue King.

He was ruthless enough to experiment on Rogues, twisting their bodies and minds until they became ferals—mindless creatures that knew nothing but bloodshed and destruction.

And for a while, I unknowingly helped him to destroy so many innocent lives, thinking that I was doing the right thing. Thinking that it was all for a good cause... how foolish had I been back then.

By the time I discovered the truth, it was already too late. Kael and Lyra eventually found Jacob, brought his reign of terror to an end, and killed him.

But killing Jacob didn't erase what I'd done.

The guilt followed me everywhere. So I made a choice. I faked my own death and quietly disappeared into the shadows without a single trace.

For the past two years, I've hunted everyone who played a part in Jacob's operation—Alphas, influential men, merchants, and anyone else who helped fund, supply, or protect his monstrous experiments.

One by one, I've found them.

One by one, they've fallen.

But Jacob left something behind.

A blueprint.

A plan.

And a secret that someone out there is desperate to bring back to life.

That's why I can't stop.

Not until every last person involved is dragged into the light.

Not until I've corrected the mistake that nearly destroyed everything I cared about.

At least, that was the plan.

I thought I knew exactly how my story would end.

I thought the worst thing the Moon Goddess could do to me was force me to live with the consequences of my past and spend the rest of my life atoning for them.

I was wrong.

Because somewhere along the way, while hunting the monsters I'd helped create, I found a woman hidden behind a secret door.

A woman who was barely alive when I found her.

A woman with no memories, no pack, and no wolf.

A woman who looked at me with terrified eyes and called me Master.

And then my wolf said the one word that changed everything.

Mate.

She was my mate.

This is my story.

The story of how I went from being the man who ran to correct his mistakes… to becoming the man who would risk everything to protect the one person I never expected to find.

Ronan“Ready for our next trip?”Caleb appeared from the hallway, carrying his usual little cross-bag in one hand. He walked past me and headed for the front door. For some reason, my eyes drifted toward the hallway.Adalia… She was probably still asleep. After what she'd told us a few days ago, I hadn't been able to stop thinking about everything. There were still too many unanswered questions surrounding her that I still needed to figure out, but this trip needed to come first.I walked toward the guest room. My hand had barely lifted to knock when the door opened from the inside.Adalia stood there. She looked almost startled to see me, but her expression quickly softened. Her eyes dropped to the floor, just as they always seemed to do whenever I was around.“Good morning,” she said quietly.“Morning.”Her voice was still so soft that sometimes I wondered if she was afraid of being heard.“Did you sleep well?”She nodded. “Yes, Ronan.”Something about hearing my name from her lips

Adalia“What did you just call me?”His voice was calm, but the question made my entire body stiffen. My heart lurched… Had I said something wrong? The fear came so quickly that I didn't even have time to think. My knees instinctively hit the floor almost immediately, and I bowed my head, my hands trembling as I clasped them together.“I’m sorry,” I whispered. “I’m so sorry. I didn't mean to upset you.”The words tumbled out before I could stop them. Please don't be angry. Please don't hurt me.With Alpha Jared dead, this young mister was my new master. That was how it worked… At least, that was what I'd been taught. Alpha Jared had made sure I understood that there was only one title I was supposed to use when speaking to him. Master. Every time. No exceptions. So, since the young mister had taken his place now, shouldn't I call him the same thing? Unless he preferred something else.Maybe I had already made a mistake. My fingers tightened together. What if he thought I was being dis

RonanI stared at the bed in the guest room, or more accurately, at the woman sleeping on it.She hadn't moved much since we'd brought her to my house. Every now and then, her chest rose and fell beneath the thin blanket, but otherwise, she remained completely still.I sighed again. I had lost count of how many times I'd done it in the last hour. This was ridiculous.A mate.Out of everything the Moon Goddess could have thrown at me, she had decided that this was what I needed… A mate. The thought alone made me want to sigh again.Instead, I turned away from the doorway and stepped into the living room.Caleb was sitting comfortably on the couch, one leg crossed over the other as he leisurely enjoyed a glass of wine. There was an unmistakable look of amusement dancing in his eyes, although he was doing a terrible job of pretending otherwise. The corner of his lips twitched the moment he saw me.My eyes narrowed. “You think this is funny?”His expression immediately became innocent.“F

Ronan“What the hell?!”Alpha Jared's furious shout filled the room as the door came crashing down. Two naked women lying on the bed with Alpha Jared screamed at the same time, scrambling to cover themselves with whatever they could reach.I stepped over the broken door and rested one foot on what was left of it, a smile spreading across my face as I looked at Jared.“Sorry about your door, Jared. I really did mean to knock, but, uh...” I glanced at the wreckage beneath my foot. “I was kind of in a hurry.”One of them hurried past me with the sheet wrapped tightly around her body, while the other followed right behind her, still struggling to pull her dress over herself.I simply stepped aside and let them go, knowing they would eventually be taken care of. The moment they left, the room fell quiet, and Jared's expression changed as he looked at me.At first, he seemed more irritated than frightened. Then his eyes traveled over my face, and whatever anger he'd been holding suddenly di
