"If you're here and free why don't you come to my office and help me grade some papers?" Travis whispered before leaning back and giving me a rueful smirk.

Did he truly believe that i was willing to be all alone with him in his office?  He had to be out of his damn mind.

"Sorry teach, but I'm busy." I said easily smirking back.  "After all, it won't be appropriate for a teacher and student to be seen alone together, don't you agree?"

"Do you really think I care about what everyone says?" Travis asked lifting a brow.  "You're my mate and in the end we are going to end up together for life.  A few rumors won't harm me."

"Sorry teach," I said continuing to smile, "but I don't want to ruin my perfect reputation."

Tilting his back Travis gave a bellowing laugh.  "Do you think I haven't heard what people have said about you around here?"
