Ravenna's POV
“Daddy, when are you coming to see us again? We miss you a lot.“
Ravenna blinked, her breath seized and her hand trembling slightly but she didn't panic.
At first she thought she must be hallucinating from all the stress she had gone through today. She rubbed her eyes with her hand and looked at the phone again. And then she realised she had seen correctly. The message was right there.
There was another woman.
And she had children with him.
Her heart thundered so loudly that she couldn't barely hear anything else.
She tried to reach for the phone but the door creaked open and she quickly looked away.
Talon stepped back into the office. He reached for his phone immediately and his face narrowed with suspicions when he read the message.
His gaze flickered towards Ravenna but she had managed to compose herself and her expression gave nothing away.
When he was convinced that she hadn't seen the message, he tucked the phone into his pockets, and grabbed his suit jacket.
“I will see you later, Ravenna,” he said urgently, sliding the jacket on. “Don't forget, I want my dinner ready before I get back home.“
She didn't say anything. She just forced a smile and nodded slowly like a sheep obedient to it's slaughter.
He pressed a kiss to her cheeks and stormed out of the office.
Ravenna let out a breath she didn't realise she has been holding. She stood up, pacing the office while running a hand through her hair.
That can't be true.
Talon…. might be cheating but he would definitely not have another family.
But the message?
Daddy?
She didn't think. She just acted.
She stormed towards the door, grabbed her bag from where she had left it earlier. She walked towards the parking lot, slide into her car and started trailing behind him at a distance.
She would find out the truth.
Tears blurred her vision, her hands trembling around the steering wheel but she forced herself to remain calm. This isn't the time to show weakness. This was the time to see if anything is real.
Talon made a few stops at a high class restaurant, boutique shop, and supermarket—everytime he comes out with a bag. Ravenna made sure to never lost him.
Finally after about two hours, he parked in front of a mansion that was more grand than theirs. She parked at a distance, watching as he stepped out of the car and rang the doorbell.
The door open and a woman stepped out, pulled him into an embrace and kissed him.
A small boy about the age of four ran and hugged his legs. “Daddy.“
Talon lifted him up and kissed his forehead, while running a hand through his hair.
Together they collected the bags from the car booth and went inside.
Ravenna chest tightened. She gasped for breath, tears streaming down her face. She let out a gruttal growl as the pain of betrayal threatened to tear her apart.
She slammed her clenched fists to her chest, willing for the pain to lessen but it didn't.
The man she loved. The one she gave up everything for, had betrayed her without a second thought.
She didn't dwell too much on her pain. She should pay them a visit, shouldn't she?
She rolled out a tissue, wiped out her smeared makeup while staring at her broken reflection in the front mirror. She tried to swallow her tears, stepped out of the car and walked towards the mansion.
She heaved a deep breath, composed herself and pressed the doorbell.
A minute later, the door creaked open. It was the woman from earlier. Her eyes narrowed in confusion at first, then when recognition hits her, her mouth fell open in a mix of shock and disbelief. She wanted to shut the door closed, but Ravenna acted quickly.
With her wolf strength, she pushed the door back while smirking and stepped into the living room.
The woman fell to the floor sharply, and a cry tore from her throat.
“Are you fine, dear?“ Talon's voice called out.
“Of course, she's fine,” Ravenna replied, her sharp voice echoing through the room.
“Ravenna….“ Talon said as he recognised the familiar voice.
Panic sets in as he ran towards the door and there he saw her standing tall like a heroine ready to crush all her enemies. Her expression twisted with rage. He could feel her wolf growling beneath her.
She knew. She must have seen the text earlier. And again, he didn't flinch. He wasn't remorseful.
“Daddy.“ The boy ran out, visibly scared of Ravenna.
“Go to your, Jayden,” Talon quickly said. “Daddy will come and read you a bedtime story.“
The boy nodded and ran upstairs.
Talon stepped closer, his eyes darkened. “Are you out of your damn mind?!“ He growled. “Why would you come here to scare my wife and son?!“
She scoffed at his audacity. She didn't say a word. She walked into the main living room, took a seat and crossed her legs like she owned the place.
“Nice place,” she complimented, her eyes darting around. “I bet you paid for this place with my mother's bank card.“
He didn't answer that.
She was right. Every penny spent was from Luna Selene's card.
“Leave, Ravenna. We'll talk about this when we get home,” he snapped, gesturing towards the door.
A bitter laugh escaped from her mouth. Home? Was he so stupid that he thinks she would want to talk to him ever again.
“I can see clearly that this child has been born before we met, so why did you keep me around? Why didn't you tell me you were married when we discovered that we were mates?“ she asked in a genuine hurt filled tone.
“Because I needed you. Your money actually,” he answered, his voice carefree like everything they've shared doesn't matter.
“And that explains why you don't want to marry me, right? All those conditions was just to keep me by your side like a fool,” she says, every word breaking her heart but she wouldn't let them know. She has been trained to be strong after all.
“Hmmm… yes, because I was already married,” he said, gesturing towards his wife.
She walked into his arms, a triumphant smirk playing on her face and they kissed.
Ravenna stomach sank.
They pulled apart.
“And for your information, you would never be able to get pregnant,” he purred.
“What?“ She snapped, uncrossing her legs. “What did you mean by that?“
He took a seat across her and crossed his legs gracefully. “Because I have always added birth control herbs to your coffee every time we made love for the past three years. And again, we were never mates. That was dark magic at play. It was my plan all along, just so I could have you wrapped under my fingers."
Then he leaned back his chair. "I mean, what other victory is better than sinking the relationship between Alpha Lucien and his spoiled princess.
Ravenna's body shook with pain, her fingers clenching tightly on the armrest.
Talon had practically ruined her.
For the past three years, she had felt like the problem behind her barrenness but he has been behind it?
And they aren't mate? Everything was to ruin the relationship between her and her fatther?
The tears she had been holding all this while finally slid down her cheeks. She quickly wiped it off with the back of her hand but it kept falling.
Her father's words echoed through her mind: He is an enemy.
And she regretted it. Every damn decision she made.
“Are you crying, Ravenna,” he taunted, leaning his head forward. “Do you really think I'm a fool who would want to be with an enemy's daughter? Or do you think I will really want to be with a woman who foolishly left her family without a second thought. Quit dreaming, Ravenna. That mate bond is fake but thanks to that, I was able to hit the jackpot and acquire the life I have always wanted for myself.“
Ravenna couldn't take it anymore. She stood up, ran outside with tears streaming down her cheeks.
Their laughter chased her into the night—sharp, cruel, and unforgettable.
Kael POV "Marry me, Alpha Kael."Kael watched as the woman who had once rejected him said it like it was the most natural thing in the world. She seems to be joking, doesn't she? He studied her expression critically and it gave nothing away. She was serious. He couldn't help but smirk at her sheer audacity. She has run in the past when he wanted to marry her. But now, she is the one proposing it?Why? What does she stand to gain? It seems things had gone south with her Rogue prince, the one she claimed to love and even gave up everything for, and now she wants to crawl back to him. As much as he was curious about what happened, he decided not to ask. It was none of his business."This woman, you never cease to amaze me, don't you," he mused, his tone light yet cold. "Don't you think this is too audacious coming from a woman who ran away from me three years ago?"Ravenna didn't say anything. Kael could see her biting her lower lip as if she regretted saying the words."You must think

Ravenna's POV “Miss Ravenna,” the doctor called, her voice tight with concern as she walked over and took a seat across of Ravenna. “I'm sorry. You were not pregnant. Just a delay in your period.““What?“ Ravenna exclaimed, her heart twisted painfully.it was like they poured her a bucket of cold water. All her hopes dashed away. “I'm not pregnant?“ She asked.“No,” the doctor affirmed. “You would definitely see your period soon. And those symptoms are just stress and fatigue. You need to take a proper rest.“She wanted to tell the doctor to run the test for a second time but she decided against it: she can't be wrong, can she?But then she was not pregnant, again? After all these years? For the past three years that Talon and her had left the pack that night, they've lived together in a small and unknown pack—Silver claw—in the Northern province. They got a decent apartment there and started a fashion company where Talon was the CEO, all thanks to her mother's black card, which she
