Caleb was restless after hearing what the guard said. “Everyone, leave us!” he commanded, and the other guards left in a hurry. They could not help but fear for their colleague’s life. When their king was like that it was wise to leave him alone, give him space to think and calm down but now that he asked their brother to stay behind. They could not help but send a prayer to the gods on his behalf.
