"What do you mean, you are a member of the Guild?" He asks threateningly.

Maybe I made a mistake telling him this but it is a gamble that is too late to take back. The only thing that I can do now is to keep moving forward and hope that things work out. Hopefully, I can spin this so that it helps me in the future.

"Maybe you do not know as much about the Guild as you thought. If you did then I am sure that you would have known that I was a member by now. It was the only way that I could survive." I tell him.

"Why are you here now then? Are you planning a job here?" He asks quietly.

"No, I am actually avoiding the Guild right now. They threw me to the wolves just hoping that I would fail." I say spitefully.

"Why would they want you to fail? I thought that the Guild was like a family. Always trying to help each other." He says.
