I hang up the phone just as Riley enters the kitchen, and then not long after Nathaniel joins us too; he sits down opposite me at the table and sighs. I ask.

"What's happening, Nat?"

"Ryker just collapsed. Unfortunately, we won't be able to do much until he wakes. What else have you two to report?"

"Not much. The female that was with Scarlett bought four wolf necklaces from a witch.."

"I got a call from Malcom saying that those two Alphas are now following us, following that other female that is travelling with Scarlett and maybe even now following Scarlett."

"Okay, we will have to keep an eye on them. Jack said that they were bad news, and we may need to consult with Uncle Noah about them."

"We may have to contact him, anyway. We are getting very close to one of his kingdom's territories. We will need his permission to enter..."

"That is nothing... I might head to rest so that when Ryker wakes, we can get back on their trail. I will ring Uncle Noah at the same time
