Tiffany

I hate this.

I hate what I am about to do.

Why do I have to talk with Justin of all people.

I take a deep breath, "I would just inform him his coach wants him back in the game," I tell myself.

I thought the game was over, I should have done my research on hockey.

"Justin Harris!" I yell behind him, but he don't turn. "Justin!" I yell again, and he pauses.

"Why are you following me?" He turns around to look at me.

"Your coach wants you back before the game starts," I pass on the information.

"I'm not playing the game anymore. Go tell him that," Justin says and turns around.

"I knew you were an asshole but I didn't know you were a coward too," I scoff, and he turns sharply to look at me.

"I'm not a fucking coward, Sherlock," He yells.

I hate it when he calls me Sherlock. Just because my surname is Holmes doesn't mean my first name is Sherlock.

"Then why are you running away when you face defeat? That sounds like a coward to me," I roll my eyes, and he stomps towards me angrily.

I step back as my heart race increases, but Justin keeps walking closer till I am trap against the wall. "You think you're better than everyone, Sherlock?" He asks, and I frown.

"You're suffocating me," I tell him as I push against his chest, but he don't budge, he lean into me as I held his gaze.

"I'm not a fucking coward," He says and walks away from me towards the locker room.

I press my hand on my racing chest, trying to calm it, I have never gotten this close to Justin since high school.

I really don't expect me to react like this to him when he is the one person I despise the most.

I need to stay away from Justin Harris.

-

"You didn't do the interview?" Ava yells at me as I slump on the bed.

"Says the girl who ditched me," I reply, and she sighs.

"Hun, I didn’t ditch you, Finn had a fever, and my phone wasn't with me," Ava explained.

"Whatever.." I turn away from her on the bed.

"What do you mean you didn't interview them? I may not have attended the game, but I heard news. This is one of the best games in a long time, Justin literally turned things around during the last session," Ava says.

"I don't care," I reply.

Ava hop on the bed and turn me to face her.

"Why? This is where you're suppose to interview Justin and ask what motivates him to play the way he did during the last session, " she screams. "If you have that alone, you could make the front page!" She adds.

"I'm not writing an article on ice hockey Ava, I will find another way to make the front page," I tell her truthfully, and she palms her forehead.

"I've never seen anyone as stubborn as you, Tiff," she sighed. "Good luck making the front page with science competition and stuff no one gives a shit about," Ava says, and I bury my head in my pillow.

I just need to sleep.

-

I walk into Mrs. Willow's office, and she looks up at me with a frown. "What is it this time, Mrs. Holmes?" She asks.

"Is there anything I can write an article on except for ice hockey to make the front page?" I ask, and she sighs, removing her glasses.

"I already told you that's the only way you can make the front page, Tiffany you have potential, if you follow the right channels you would make a good journalist, the coach promised to get the players together for an interview, if you can't do it, let me know then I would ask Larry to handle it," she says and I squeezed my palms into a fist.

Is this really it?

Will I really not make the front page just because I don't want to write on ice hockey?

"I will do it after class today," I tell her and she smiled.

"Don't let this opportunity slip again," she smiles at me and I nod before leaving her office.

I walk towards my next class and got inside, it's a general class, philosophy and logic.

I sit next to Ava who was on her phone. "What did she say?" She asks me.

"I have to interview the players after class today, she spoke with their coach," I tell her.

"If you want your name on the front page, you have to do it hun," Ava reply, not looking up from her Phone.

"Who are you chatting with?" I ask.

"Finn, he is still having a fever," Ava answer and I nod.

"Hey, are you the journalist interviewing us today?" I heard a voice behind me and the first thing I saw was a pair of green eyes.

Oh God.

He wasn't the one who asked me, though. It was his friend, Aaron, another ice hockey player. "Yes, you have a problem?" I turn my attention to Aaron.

"Heyyy chill girl, I just wanted to tell you I won't be able to join the interview, I have a date," Aaron informs.

"Why are you telling me, tell your coach, he arranged it," I reply and he rubs the back of his neck.

"Well... here's the deal, I don't want coach finding out, I want this between us," Aaron tell me.

"I won't cover for you, if you don't want to do the interview tell him," I say and turn away from him.

"I told you she was a goody too shoes, Little Sherlock thinks she's better than everyone else," I hear Justin say, but I ignore him.

I have no intention of indulging his stupidity.

"Oh my fucking God!" Ava say beside me and turn towards her.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Larry posted on his blog," Ava says, showing her phone to me, and my eyes widen.

I grabbed Ava's phone from her to look at the pictures more closely.

There are pictures of me and Justin in the hallway, the one where he trapped me against the wall.

And the caption made my head spin.

Justin I tried to help Tiffany clean the gym, but she didn’t let me.She told me to sit and wait for her to finish if I wasn't going to leave her alone, and now I am just sitting on one of the stools looking at her clean."Are you sure you don't want my help, babe?" I tease, and she shot a glare at me."Don't call me babe when we are alone. It gives me the ick, " she says, and I smirked.Still as feisty as ever. It's a miracle she agreed to date me, I was ready to pressure her for weeks, but I'm surprised she agreed so fast.I guess she really wants to make the front page. This makes me wonder why she hates hockey so much. Maybe she hates it because of me. She has always hated me like it's a full-time job.I stare at her and notice she looks tired, so early in the morning.I hear she works many jobs, I wonder how many and why? For money, obviously, but I don't really see her as someone who is lacking.Maybe it's just me."We need to talk about your no touching rule," I say, and she

Tiffany "Are you insane?" I scream at him."No, I'm not insane," Justin refutes, but I can clearly tell there was something wrong with him."I don't think so," I roll my eyes and scoff loudly."Listen to me, I don't like you either, but we have to feed the rumors about our relationship." Justin continues like a mentally unstable person."Why?" I ask in total confusion. If he hates me as much as I hate him, why would he say that to me."Let's walk while I explain," Justin says"I don't want to be seen talking to you," I refuse, folding my hands under my breast. "You should be happy I am even indulging you," Justin sighs"As everyone knows, I am the guy every girl on campus wants to have sex with," he starts, and I frown. "I plan on getting scouted by the NHL and coach thinks my constant appearance with different girls could affect my chances, he complained about my performance at our match yesterday saying I was too distracted, I spend to much time and girls and parties," Justin expla

"I need to get out of here," I tell her and get up from my seat.I turn towards Justin and glare at him hard. This is all his fault. He had to trap me to the wall of a the fucking hallway. He doesn't look bother about the rumor, and it disgusts me to no end. It was also confusing.I know he hates me too for reasons only known to him, and I really do not care, so why isn't he bothered?"Yoo, I didn’t know you were dating," Aaron says to Justin, but Justin ignores him.I pick up my bag and walk towards the door, all eyes follow my steps."I thought she hated Justin,""It was all an act, I knew it,""Justin is too good for her,""I heard she hates hockey. How can she be in a relationship with Justin?""Like I said, it's all an act,"I ignore all the voice and leave the hall, "Tiff!" Ava

Tiffany"I don't care if you have a problem with hockey Holmes, it's the hot shot right now and that's the only thing that can get you on the front page of the campus news," Mrs. Willow tells me."You haven’t even read my articles yet," I defend."I don't need to read it to know it's not what we are looking for. It's the front page of Ravens College news. Science competition articles won't get you there," she shrugs. " a little tip, The Ravens are playing against their biggest rivals today by 5pm, attend the game and at least get an interview with the players, I would speak to the coach for you, extra chances if you get to talk to Justin Harris," Mrs Willow advices me before leaving me in the lecture hall.I sighed in frustration as I went back to my seat to take my bag and stomped out of the hall. It's like everything is about ice hockey these days, what about other things, hockey is not the only thing good about this College and the mere thought of having an interview with Justin ma
