"I don't care if you have a problem with hockey Holmes, it's the hot shot right now and that's the only thing that can get you on the front page of the campus news," Mrs. Willow tells me.

"You haven’t even read my articles yet," I defend.

"I don't need to read it to know it's not what we are looking for. It's the front page of Ravens College news. Science competition articles won't get you there," she shrugs. " a little tip, The Ravens are playing against their biggest rivals today by 5pm, attend the game and at least get an interview with the players, I would speak to the coach for you, extra chances if you get to talk to Justin Harris," Mrs Willow advices me before leaving me in the lecture hall.

I sighed in frustration as I went back to my seat to take my bag and stomped out of the hall.

It's like everything is about ice hockey these days, what about other things, hockey is not the only thing good about this College and the mere thought of having an interview with Justin made me shiver in disgust.

Absolutely not!

I walked out of the department and checked my phone for the time.

"Shit, I’m late," I curse loudly and hurry towards my bicycle, I ride to the restaurant I work at.

I sprint into the restaurant but bumped into someone who was holding an orange juice, the content spill all over my white shirt.

"Are you blind?" I scream as I look up at the person in front of me to meet the most unpleasant face in the entire campus.

"You were the one who bumped into me, Sherlock." His annoying voice contradict me.

"Just move away," I walk past him angrily, unable to look at his face any longer.

Justin fucking Harris.

I hate the guts out of him, I wonder how girls who throw themselves at him never understand who he truly is, how disgusting and heartless he is. It's infuriating.

"You do know your shirt is see-through, right?" Ava asks me as she threw a jacket my way.

"It wouldn't be if that unfortunate being hadn't spilled orange juice all over me," I reply and walk behind the counter to my work station.

Ava sat on the stool facing me and sighed. "I will never understand why you hate him. He is literally the hottest guy in Raven,"

"I don't see the appeal," I tell her.

"A hockey player, highest goal scorer, vice captain of the Raven, the guy who girls have wet dreams about, literally perfect!" She shower what she thought was compliments on him and I roll my eyes.

"I don't know why you guys like hockey. That's like one of those sports that doesn't have consequences for violence," I reply.

"Honey, players don't fight at every hockey game," Ava retorts. "Besides, will your article make the front page?" She asks, and I frown. "I knew science competition won't get you the front page. You need ice hockey,"

"Not you too, that's what Mrs Willow said," I grumbled.

Someone walked towards the counter to take what she ordered, and I gave it to her before turning back to Ava. "That's what would get you on the front page, if you want editors of big media companies to find you, you need the front and you need ice hockey to get there, do you see the chain?" Ava state the obvious.

"I don't like ice hockey or hockey in general, you know that," I tell her.

"It doesn't matter if you like it or not. Attend today's game and interview the players, write an article on it, and show Mrs Willow," Ava advise.

The same thing Mrs Willow told me a few minutes ago.

I hate to admit it but they are right, If I want to get on the front page of the campus news, I need to write an article on ice hockey, on today's game to be specific.

Fucking hell.

"Alright, I'll go," I give in and Ava squealed.

"Now, that's what I'm talking about, after two years of ignoring the obvious you finally came to your senses, no offense hun," Ava sip from the drink in front of her and a sigh left my lips.

-

I stand outside the campus stadium, calling Ava for the 10th time, but she didn’t pick up. I sent another message to her before putting my phone in my pocket.

I took in a deep breath and walked into the stadium. It was packed. Of course, it's the finals, and the ravens are playing against their biggest rival.

So I heard from Ava before she decided it was the best option to ditch me.

I find an empty seat and sit down. The game had already started.

I made sure to arrive late because there was no way I was sitting through the entire game. They may as well just put a knife to my throat.

When I stare down at the players moving on the ice and how they move so precisely, I can't help but wonder what was going on.

I know the basis of hockey, but aside from that, I know absolutely nothing about it.

The other team score and their supporters scream loudly, I notice a player from the Raven throwing his stick on the ground angrily, the ice crack a little making me shiver, and I don't need a genius to tell me that was Justin.

Men who couldn't control their anger terrified me.

I checked the scoreboard, and it looks like the ravens are losing, I smirk when I realize.

It's good to lose every once in a while, especially since they have Justin on their team.

I hear the buzzer sound, and the players move out of the ice.

Is the game over? I knew I was late, but I didn't think I was that late for the game to be over this early.

I normally do research for anything I would be writing an article on, but today, I don't care about ice hockey, just doing it for the front page.

Anyway, this is my cue, time for the after game interview.

I walk out of the stadium and head towards the locker room of the players.

When I get to the door, I can hear the coach yelling at the players. It was slightly open.

I don't think this is the right time to interview them.

I hear Justin yell at the couch, and he stomp towards the door, pushing it open, forcefully making me fall to the ground.

He glare at me before walking away, and I pick myself up with a frown.

I can never like that dude.

"If you want an interview with my players, then you would get my center player back in the locker room before the next period starts," the coach says to me, and I blink.

"What?"

"You heard me, aren't you the journalist student Mrs Willow sent?" He asks

"Yes,"

"Then get Justin Harris back in the stadium if you want an interview," He says again and walks back into the locker room.

Tiffany "Justin bought you this?" Ava asks, suprise evident in her eyes. "I specifically told him not to," I reply, letting out a sigh. "Why would he get you a new laptop?" Ava asks again. "Mine fell while I was at his place yesterday, and the screen cracked badly," I explain, and she nods in understanding and then smirks a little. "I didn't know Justin was such a good boyfriend," "Stop it," I reprimand her as I repack the laptop. "I'm sending it back to him," "Huh? No, you won't... you need the laptop, how would you write your article?" Ava frowns. "I would borrow yours... I don't need a favor from Justin," I complain. "Gosh... Tiff.... can you stop already? I will never understand this hatred for Justin, but throwing away a perfectly good laptop because of hate is just plain stupidity. " Ava yells at me.
