Chapter - 3

The Kiss

" By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you married. Smile, kiss, and spend the rest of the day celebrating your new commitment. "

As soon as the words left the officiant's lips, Adrian pulled me by the waist and leaned towards me, causing me to arch backwards trying to lean away from his hungry eyes. I don't know what had happened but all of a sudden the cool and calm looking husband of mine had suddenly turned into a pervert. For a second I had forgotten that he was the same man known for his flirty and playboy characteristic features. Although I had known this man for a long time, I still was able to steer clear from him for the past few years. Not to mention that we weren't on good terms exactly. 

Adrian pulled me into him a little bit more causing me to close my eyes in fear and nervousness. He was just centimeters away from my lips and I could feel his dark gaze on them causing me to feel a cold shiver run down my spine. This was the part of the marriage ceremony that I was dreading the most. As much as I had planned to kick him in the groin or dodge him in my mind before the marriage ceremony, all of it was feeling useless as now not only were all the peoples gaze focused on us, to my bad luck this bastard of a husband 'of mine' wasn't doing any mercy on me either. 

This would be considered as my first kiss in my right consciousness, if we don't count the sexy mishap that had happened with me last night in my very own bachelorette party. I had my eyes closed tightly, breathing heavily, waiting to feel the pair of lips on my own when I felt the said pair of soft lips on myself.

He kissed me on my forehead. He had just kissed me, but on the 'Forehead'. I opened my eyes feeling the lingering kiss on my forehead, feeling a little bit of relief and anger too. I don't why, but I wasn't feeling as happy as I had thought I would be. 

Why didn't he kiss me on the lips? Did he not want to kiss me on the lips? Is something wrong with my lips? Or am I not looking beautiful enough to be kissed?

My chain of thoughts broke when I suddenly felt a pair of lips on my own. He kissed me on the lips. 

"Argh-mm"

The kiss was passionate, with all the desires they felt for each other. I moaned lowly when his tongue swiped over my lips catching me off guard. He bit my upper lip, then nibbled on my lower lip making me gasp in surprise. He took the chance to slip his tongue in my mouth tasting each and every corner of it. The crowd stood up clapping for the new couple, congratulating the union. The sounds of clapping broke the trance I was struck in, but it looked like it wasn't the case for the man now partially hovering above me. I couldn't pinpoint it, but it felt like this had happened earlier too. Maybe I was overthinking again but it felt like this pair of lips, this touch I had known about, like I remember it in the back of my mind but couldn't just say it. 

I tapped on his shoulder slowly and pushed him a little as I was getting out of breath, plus I was embarrassed to say the least. With all the people staring at us, including him eating my lips out like it was his favorite dish he hadn't had from a long time, and he was hungry for a long time.

" Yo-you ba-bastard leave m-me. "

 I whimpered when he bit my lips once more before giving it a firm lick and leaving it. I opened my eyes that were closed till now to see him grazing in my tear filled eyes intensely which made me lower my eyes in submission automatically. He straightened up helping me along with him, keeping me close to him by his hand that was wrapped around my waist. Our parents walked up to us with eyes filled with tears and happy smiles on their faces. My mother hugged me immediately, a few tears falling from my eyes seeing her tear filled ones. 

" M-mom "

" My dear daughter has grown up so fast. Now look at her, already married. Daughters grow up very fast don't they. " 

Mom smiled towards me, then turned towards Samaira and hugged her similarly my father too hugged my now father-in-law, congratulating each other. The grip on my waist was enough to keep me conscious of my surroundings otherwise I would have long broken into ugly cries, not even minding the occasion or place I was in. Adrian pulled my backwards a little such that my back was in touch with his hard chest. I looked around to see if anyone had seen us in the scandalous position ( according to me ) we were in.  To my relief everyone was busy in themselves and weren't even bothered by how the groom and bride were standing now.

" Look Kitten, you were supposed to be mine from the start. Now, you can't back off anymore. The times are up. "

Adrian breathed into my ears huskily in a low octave, causing shivers to run down my spine. I was confused for a moment about what he was talking about. I tried to turn towards him but he pulled me back into him back in the position we were in. He kissed my ear sensually, after biting it which caused a whimper to escape from my mouth. I panicked and looked around to see if anyone has noticed us or heard me. 

" You don't remember me now baby hmm, We spent a great night at the Sinners Pit my dear wifey. ” 

My eyes widened in horror. I looked back at him to find him grinning mischievously at me with a devilish look in his eyes. For a second I thought I had seen Satan grinning at me beside the god on his shoulders causing me to fumble on my steps. He pulled me to balance myself and again whispered.

“ We didn’t get to complete the task last night but now we can do it tonight. “     

His words only got me spiraling at all the events that had happened in the last weeks which had led to me falling into the sinners pit without any warning.
