Chapter 46 Epilogue

Percy was very quickly sent to the hospital. Thanks to Daniel’s arrangement, he received the best treatment from the hospital and was back on his feet very soon.

Heather felt much more relaxed now that she was reunited with her family, which led to her treating Daniel a lot better than she did before.

She thought, ‘This is only going to last for a year. It’s not that long of a period, so I could try to adjust my attitude and treat Daniel a little better.’

However, there are just some things in life that would disappear once missed. Take a shattered glass, for example. There’s no way it can be left without scars, even if it gets glued back together.

‘I’m still going to leave at the end of all this.’

“Thank you,” Heather said to Daniel at the dinner table.

Daniel was startled for a moment before he asked, “What for?”

“Thank you for not only sparing my brother, but even taking him under your wing.” Heather then pursed her lips and continued, “I know he’s committed a grave sin, so you
