FAZER LOGINAmelia's POV
My husband was here. He sat comfortably on one of the couches while a woman knelt between his legs. His head was tipped back, a low groan slipping from his lips as his fingers ran through her hair. Then, as if he sensed me watching, he looked up. Our eyes met. And my heart skipped a beat. Seeing him like that, I felt nothing but hatred burning hotter in my chest. Coming here to get his dick sucked was his business trip. What a bloody son of a bitch. Both him and the dick sucker weren't even ashamed. Yeah, I understood the bitch was only doing her job to get paid but him, he didn't even care. Not like it was any of my damn business anymore. He squinted at me like he was trying to place where he'd seen me before. But beneath that, I caught the flicker of interest in his eyes. If I didn't know the kind of man Matthew really was… If I hadn't lived through years of his lies, his cheating, and his cruelty, I probably would've thought he was just another ridiculously handsome man sitting in a VIP lounge. I might've even walked over to him. Funny how looks could lie so damn well. I had to pretend I didn't know him. If I looked at him for too long, he might get up and rip the mask off my face. And if we made it home after that, he'd kill me. I tore my gaze away, my heart pounding so hard against my ribs it actually hurt, and forced myself to scan the rest of the room. Gigi hadn't even told me the man's name. Damnit. How the hell was I supposed to find him when there were four of them? I looked from one face to the next, trying to figure out which one I'd been sent here for. But no matter how hard I tried….My eyes drifted back to Matthew. He leaned toward the woman sucking his dick and whispered something into her ear. She pulled back, breathing hard, her lips swollen, a sheen of saliva still clinging to them. My stomach lurched. She followed his gaze until her eyes landed on me. Then she gave him a small nod before standing up. Shit. I had to move. If there was one thing I'd learned after years of being married to Matthew, it was this. Nothing good ever came from that asshole noticing me. Just as I took a step, cold fingers slipped between mine. I jerked around so fast my breath caught in my throat. The man standing beside me looked like he'd walked straight off the cover of a magazine. Dark hair, slightly messy, like he'd been dragging his fingers through it all night and piercing grey eyes. He wore a black leather jacket over a dark polo, faded jeans, and somehow managed to make something so simple look unfairly attractive. I froze. Every muscle in my body locked up. For a second, my heartbeat drowned out everything else. Because out of all the men in that room...The one holding my hand was Grey Brentwood. The billionaire everyone knew. The CEO of the biggest tech company in the country. Even Matthew, with all his expensive suits and carefully practiced charm, couldn't hold a candle to him. And believe me, that wasn't something I ever thought I'd admit. Back when I still believed I had a future in tech—back before Matthew slowly tore that dream apart—Grey Brentwood had been my role model. I'd read interviews about him. Followed his company's latest innovations. Dreamed about working there someday. I still remember how badly I wanted that job. But then I married Matthew. And just like that, the dream died before it ever had a chance to become real. So what the hell was Grey doing here? More importantly...Could he really be my client? His hand was still wrapped around mine. It was warm. Steady..Surprisingly gentle. I don't know why, but that simple touch settled my nerves just enough for me to breathe again. "You're not Gigi," he said quietly, his eyes sliding to the woman who'd started walking toward us. She stopped so fast it was almost funny. For a second, she looked like she'd rather throw herself back at Matthew than take another step toward Grey. "There was a change of plans," I cleared my throat. "She couldn't make it." Standing there in front of the man I'd admired for years should've been exciting. Instead, I was one wrong word away from falling apart. Grey let out a quiet scoff. Yeah. He didn't buy my explanation for a second. "You're lucky you got here first, Grey," Matthew called out with that same smug, punchable grin I knew all too well. "Otherwise, I would've taken her away from you." God, what an asshole. Grey didn't even acknowledge him. And that probably irritated Matthew more than any comeback ever could've. Sometimes silence was the best answer to a fool. The air between them felt... strange. Heavy. Like there was an argument happening that neither of them was saying out loud. They definitely knew each other. I wasn't surprised. They were two of the biggest names in the tech industry..Men like them didn't climb to the top without stepping on a few powerful toes along the way. "Come with me." Grey finally looked at me. I nodded before I could second-guess myself and followed him toward the door. Even then, I could still feel Matthew's eyes burning into my back. Every step made me wonder if he'd figured it out. But he didn't try to stop us which meant he didn't. I'd thank Gigi a thousand times after tonight. She'd worked absolute magic in making sure I looked just different. Because there was no way Matthew could look at the woman walking beside Grey Brentwood and see his wife. The Amelia he knew would've never had the courage to dress like this.Amelia's POV We stayed like that for almost five minutes before he finally murmured against my hair, his voice softer than I'd expected.“Should I put you down?”“Yes.” I nodded, letting out a slow breath as reality started creeping back in.He lowered me carefully until my feet touched the floor, and for a moment, neither of us moved. We stood there facing each other, both completely exposed, and I couldn't help wondering how the hell I'd ended up here.A small, disbelieving smile tugged at my lips.I'd actually let him get this close to me.After everything I'd told myself, after all those times I'd sworn I didn't need him, I'd somehow ended up right back in his arms.“Did you enjoy it?” he asked, running a hand through his hair and pushing it away from his face.“Yes.” I nodded once before turning away to gather my clothes from the floor. “But that doesn't mean I'm coming back to work for you, Grey.”“At least there's an improvement.”I glanced over my shoulder.“What improvement?
Amelia's POV I knew this wasn't right for me. But the hunger inside me had already silenced every warning in my head.“Grey,” I begged, voice breaking. “Please… fuck me. I need you to fuck me.”He didn’t answer with words.Instead he dropped to his knees between my spread thighs like the floor was the only place he belonged. His hands gripped the backs of my knees and yanked me forward until my ass was barely on the edge of the table. The cold wood bit into my skin. I didn’t care.He hooked two fingers under the soaked crotch of my panties and dragged them to the side. The cool air hit my dripping cunt and I whimpered, hips twitching.“Look at this,” he rasped, staring straight at me. “Soaked. Fucking dripping down your thighs already.”Then his mouth was on me.Hot. Wet. Filthy. He licked a long, slow stripe from my entrance all the way up to my clit and I screamed. The sound tore out of me before I could stop it. His tongue flattened against the swollen little nub and sucked hard,
Amelia's POV I didn't understand why he wasn't giving up. No one was forcing him to keep me as his secretary, so why the hell couldn't he just leave me alone? Was this all because of his guilty conscience?I certainly hadn't expected him to leave work and come looking for me.So when I opened the door and found him standing there with a bouquet of flowers in one hand and an expression that made it painfully obvious he'd missed me, something inside me almost gave way.For one stupid second, I forgot why I was angry. Then reality came rushing back.I was dealing with the president of a biker club, a man who was used to getting what he wanted. There was no way in hell I was letting him step inside my apartment and make things even more complicated.“You want me to leave?” he asked, his expression turning completely serious.God, those eyes. They stayed on mine like he was trying to see straight through every excuse I'd prepared, and I had to fight the urge to look away. Why couldn't he
Grey's POVSomething in my gut told me Amelia wouldn't show up to work the next day. And, just like I had expected, she didn't.I waited until midday, pretending I wasn't waiting at all. Every time the elevator doors opened, my eyes drifted toward them before I could stop myself. Every time footsteps passed my office, I looked up, half-expecting to see her walking toward her desk with that stubborn look on her face. But she never came.I told myself she had finally made up her mind about resigning, and that should have made things easier. Instead, it felt like someone had taken a piece of my routine and left an annoying fucking hole where it used to be.I tried like hell to concentrate on work, but my attention wouldn't stay where it belonged. I would type for five minutes, then glance toward her empty desk. I'd read the same paragraph twice and realize I hadn't absorbed a damn word. Her chair sat there, pushed neatly beneath the desk, as if she had only stepped away for a few minutes
Amelia's POV I never wanted to tell Giselle about Grey being some kind of secret biker president. Not because I wanted to protect him, but because saying it out loud somehow made the whole thing feel even crazier. Still, I couldn't keep it locked inside anymore. It had been eating at me since that night, and I needed to tell someone before I drove myself fucking insane.I shifted in my chair and rubbed my palms against my thighs.“Few nights ago, I was coming home from work,” I began, my voice quieter than I intended. The memory came back so clearly that for a second, I could almost see Grey standing in front of me again, that gun hanging loosely in his hand as if it belonged there.“The night you asked me why I was so shaken?”“Yes.” Giselle leaned forward. “What happened?”“I saw Grey.”Her brows pulled together.“I saw him on the road with a gun in his hand, surrounded by a group of men. They were all wearing leather jackets, and there was a man on the ground in front of them.”I
Amelia's POV “Is…is that not Dad?” she asked, her eyes fixed on the photograph.Oh God.She wasn't supposed to see it.When Dad disappeared, Giselle had been just a little kid. I was older, old enough to understand what was happening and old enough to carry some of the weight of it, even though it had nearly crushed me.But Giselle? She had spent years asking for him.She would sit by the window whenever she heard a car pull into the driveway, convinced that maybe this time, he would be the one stepping out. Even after everyone stopped talking about him, she still asked where he was, when he was coming back, whether he would remember her.I had always hated lying to her about it.Now she was staring at that photograph like it had opened a door neither of us was ready to walk through.I said nothing.“Amelia?”Her eyes finally lifted from the picture and settled on mine. She watched me so closely that I could almost feel her searching my face for an answer, as if one wrong twitch of m
