Chapter 130- Who is the Mother?

“What? No…” Penelope said, coming forward and stood next to Killian. “This is an obvious case of abduction. It has nothing to do with me.”

A coy smile was plastered on Bethany’s face. “On the contrary, it has everything to do with you.” She retorted. “He wasn’t supposed to move on from me. But he did when he met you. I could no longer stay on the side lines, out of the limelight. I am the true Mrs. King and no one will take that away from me.”

“Beth… No one is taking your place. Just give the babies to me. You can’t just take them away.” Killian tried to plead with her.

A frown was etched across Bethany’s face. “Why can’t I? They are mine as well, aren’t they?”

Killian and Penelope exchanged a wary glance.

She caught the exchange between the two of them so she repeated her question, “Are they not?”

“ARE THEY NOT?!” She shouted.

“O-of course, they are yours. Just give them to me.” Killian lied through his teeth.

Bethany was silent for a few seconds. “You hesitated.” She spoke quietly.
