CHAPTER SEVENTY-NINE

Emma straightened her neck as the Chief approached further, giving the medical team a questioning and concerned look. The ambulance siren blew all around them. It was chaotic with different Departments crowding the scene.

“The man who has been causing all this havoc kidnapped me because I witnessed him killing a child and turned him in. He is in there,” Emma pointed.

Shortly, Clive was found in a corner where he had been bonded by Wolfsbane. The cops handcuffed him and led him to their car. Since he looked exactly like Clyde, whom they had initially arrested, they thought it was still him.

“I will make you pay, Emma. Until you stop existing, I will never rest,” he threatened as he was being forced into the car.

“Keep threatening an officer, and we might gag you before you get to jail,” the chief yelled.
