CHAPTER SIXTY

Even with the blazing restriction on his nerves due to the poison traveling through every system in his body, Clyde saw a survivor who was one of the attackers. He grabbed him by the neck and dashed for the woods. He could self-heal but needed time to do that.

“I'll only ask once. Who put you up to this?” he queried the attacker as he flew into midair with him, barely holding his collar.

Clyde let him loose from that height, blanking whatever he wanted to say. The landing attacker's yells filled the forest.
