Candace

My eyes widened when the strange, hot man turned fully to face me and took a step forward.

“U-uh… I think I took a-a wrong turn!” I stammered out, spinning around so I could walk away.

However, for the second time today, my legs betrayed me and I slipped. I belt out a startled screech as I saw my body moving towards the ground but luckily for me, the hot stranger stepped in before I face planted on the floor.

“You really need to watch where you're going.” He says, his arms wrapped around my waist to keep me upright.

At this point, our faces were inches away and the first thing I noticed….

Well, two things actually. The first is that he had really full lips… the type that looked soft and nice to kiss.

And that his eyes were the most vibrant shade of blue I'd ever seen.

They were so unique and vivid that when he looked at me, it felt like he was seeing right into my soul, stripping away layers with each passing second.

Too late, I realised that I’d been staring at him for too long and practically flew out of his arms.

“Yeah, I uh… I can be quite clumsy at times.” I said nervously, taking two steps back.

“I can see that.” He said with an amused chuckle.

My first instinct was to run back into the building but I had promised to take more risks and he was more outgoing this new semester.

Plus, the alcohol in my system was starting to make my body tingle.

“You're the guy from earlier right?” I managed to stammer out, anxiously moving on the balls of my feet.

His eyes darkened as he faced me fully, his abs rippling with the move. “You mean the one you poured drinks on earlier huh?”

My face turned red instantly. “Y-yeah, I'm re-really sorry about that. I had no-”

“Hey, it's fine. I was just pulling your legs.” He smiled. “Besides, you allowed me to get out of there.”

“Why?” My body started to ease up the longer we talked and I arched a brow. “Drunk college kids not your idea of fun?”

“No.” He said simply, staring right at me.

“Can I ask what is?”

“Sure.” He shrugged, the movement sexy and nonchalant. “But I'll answer only if you take a hit.”

He pulled out a fresh blunt and handed it over to me.

I hesitated, simply because smoking was unfamiliar territory and even though I was pleasantly buzzed, it didn't escape me that I was in a dark corner with a strange dude.

Hot…but a stranger nonetheless.

“What?” A strange guy misread my hesitation for something else. “You don't smoke?”

“Uh..” I licked my lips nervously. “I don't… know.”

“What do you mean by ‘you don't know’?” His entire focus was on me now, looking invested in the conversation. “It's either you smoke or you don't.”

“I don't know if I smoke because I've never tried it before,” I admitted, biting my lips.

His eyes instantly went to my mouth before he spoke. “Why? Because you're busy pretending to be a good girl instead of doing what you actually want?”

“You can't say things like that because you don't even know me.”

“So why don't you prove me wrong and take it?” His blue eyes held mine as he moved the stick of weed towards me. “Do what you want.”

I don't know if it's because of how he spoke to me… the commanding lift in his tone that urged me to give in to him or if it was the insane chemistry that was bubbling between us but for the first time in a long while… I abandoned logic and followed my desires.

I grabbed the weed and inhaled deeply, the smoke and scent of the marijuana tickling the back of my throat.

For the first few seconds, it was manageable but then the smoke clouded my brain and I started to cough.

“Crap, I think you should give me that.” He laughs, reaching for the blunt. “So you really weren't lying huh?”

“Why would I lie about that?”

“I don't know… to impress me?” The corner of his lips tipped up in a smirk.

“Impress you?” I laughed.

“Yeah, isn't that what girls your age do?”

“Girls my age?” I snorted, arching a brow. “You're the same as me!”

“Am I?” He questioned, growing serious.

I took a closer look at him and realised that my assessment might have been off because he looked older than most college guys I've seen. Not to mention that he had this devil-may-care and sophisticated look to him.

“Hold on…are you checking me out?” He takes a step towards me.

“So what if I am?” I take another step, suddenly feeling bolder. “You're the one who told me to take what I want.”

“Hmm…” a glint flashed past his eyes as he scanned up and down my body. “And what is it you want right now?”

It seemed like the temperature cooled, cackling with unresolved sexual tension between us.

Several warning thoughts crossed my mind before I jumped into action but I discarded them.

For one night, I wanted to be wild and sexy and forget about the consequences.

Which was why I wrapped my arms around his neck, closing the distance between us, and slammed my mouth down on his.

And just like that, I was instantly blown away by the kiss.

In all my 19 years of being alive, I've never felt this way before.

The kiss was explosive, sparks flying everywhere the second our lips connected.

For the first few seconds, I melted into the kiss, controlling the direction but everything changed when I bit down on his lower lip.

He let out a sexy ass growl and reached forward to grab my ass, before devouring my lips in an insanely hot kiss that melted off my pants.

I raked my nails down his back, feeling wild and wanton making out with a strange guy out in the open where anyone could see.

Just as I was ready to jump his bones, he pulled away, panting heavily only to leave his forehead against mine, our warm breaths mingling.

“Fuck! I knew you were going to be trouble the first time I saw you.” He breathed, sliding his hand up to cup my throat, making my breathing falter.

He picked up on my reaction and squeezed tighter.

I couldn't help my help… I moaned out loud like a woman in heat.

The man closed his eyes like he was in pain. “Dammit, woman, you're killing me here!” He groaned, opening eyes that were dark with desire.

“If we keep doing this, I'm not going to be able to stop…I need to know that you want this too.” He muttered against my mouth.

I opened my mouth to speak but instead, I breathed in deeply, inhaling his scent. He smelled of fresh detergent, sandalwood, and sweat… a very weird but heady combination.

I threw caution to the wind and leaned down, ensuring to hold eye contact and bit down on his neck.

Things escalated from then on.

Clothes flew everywhere, skin on skin contact was initiated, whispered pants and cries filled the air as we had ourselves over to the desire and lust burning through our skin.

Hold on, let me just quickly change-”I turned around, intent on doing that but Bridge didn't let me move an inch, instantly jumping to block my path.“Oh, hell no!” She bursts out, smiling widely. “You're not changing anything! Girl, have you seen yourself in the mirror? You look so damn hot!!”Years of insecurity and low self-es
