Thank you." I said and grabbed the pastry bag as I walked out of the cafe. I bought these pastries for that little one. Ever since he entered my life I somehow feel alive again.

That kid cooks for me and is really obedient. So these pastries are his reward. Not only a reward but just for him. Just to see a smile on his face because that kid rarely smiles.

I bought him some clothes with some toys. I walked down the street with a smile on his face. I just wanted to see his reaction.

But my smile didn't last long when I saw the scars standing in the corner of the street sitting on their bikes. Some smoking, some with girls and some just laughing but then my eyes paused on him and my breath hitched when my eyes met his.

He was looking here right at me. Even though we were so far and his face was hidden I can still see his eyes on me. Those eyes are dangerous. A pure definition of evilness.

I gulped and looked around trying to find another route that would take me home but this was the only one and I had to pass through them to turn around and get on my street.

I took a deep breath and started to walk confidently. My heart beat started to raise as I took every step closer to them. I wanted the earth  to swallow me at the moment.

His eyes...his eyes...his eyes.

I kept screaming 'his eyes' in my mind as I felt them on me. His eyes are so powerful and that scar feels like it's made for him. I wonder what he looks like.

I walked past him and he didn't utter a word nor stood up from his bike. Thank God he has some manners but his dogs don't seem to have it.

"Ahh." I bumped into someone and almost fell back. I looked up and found Liam standing in front of me with a girl on his one side and a guy on his other side. I looked around and found people walking down the street while glancing at us. I could see some of them wanted to help but because of their leader they couldn't.

I stood straight and cleared my throat. I found his eyes on my stuff. Shoot! If he tried to look through it then I'm done.

I tried to walk past them but they blocked my way again. I gulped and took a deep breath before looking up in his eyes.

"Get away from my way." I said while looking directly in his eyes without stammering. I wasn't scared of him, I was scared of the person sitting on the bike in the corner looking at us. I could feel his eyes intensity burning my back.

I could feel him hovering on my nerves yelling at me that I'm nothing against me.

I felt this even when he said or did nothing.

"Why in a hurry? Is that little boy waiting for you?" He asked and my eyes slightly widened. They didn't go into my boutique right away. The kid didn't call me so it means they didn't go there or what if they did.

"Get aside." I said and tried to walk past but they didn't let me. He started to tower over me, making me step back but he didn't stop. I wanted to stop before I could be standing right in front of that scar face.

I stopped but he didn't..he tried to get in my personal space but I put my hand on his chest, stopping him.

"Let me go." I said in a threatening tone and he chuckled. Tears blurred the edge of my eyes. I wouldn't have been this scared if there was any other person but they were scars. I've heard a lot about their brutal acts. Although they don't kill anyone, they leave them with nothing left.

He looked at my hand on his chest and grabbed it. Tears blurred my eyes even more. I tried my best to stop them from falling but I couldn't. I tried to snatch my wrist away from his hold but he didn't let me. That's when my teary eyes snapped up towards him.

He was no good.

Indeed he was their leader.

The god of coldness.

His eyes were already on mine.

I saw nothing in them.

Just coldness.

He didn't intend to help in any way.

Of course why would he ...he must be enjoying it.

"Tell your dog to let me go." I yelled at him and that's when I noticed his eyes slightly widening. He changed his expression back to a cold one in a fraction of second.

"Ahhh." I yelped in pain as his grip tightened on my wrist even more. It felt like my bone would crush. Tears started to fall down from my eyes and I hated it.

He is the cause of these tears.

I stepped on his foot and he let me go but  he didn't yelp in pain. I expected an expression on his face but what I saw was shocking. I could see his smile under his mask. An evil smile.

He tried to grab my hand again but I landed it right on his face.

An 'ohhh' sound reverberated through the whole street. The passers passing by stopped on their steps in utter shock.

My eyes widened when I realized what I did.

I slapped a scar....

He turned his head at me and shouted right on my face and it felt like an animal was growling at me. I flinched and stepped back.

"You slapped me....you bitch." He cursed and raised his hand to slap me. I pulled my hand up on my face to prevent myself as I closed my eyes tightly ready to feel the pain but the slap never came.

I slowly opened my eyes and let my hands down. My eyes widened when I saw the scar face holding Liam's wrist.

"But she slapped me." Liam said offended as tears brimmed the edge of his eyes. I truly hurt his ego and self respect in front of the whole street. This news will roam around the city like a fire in no seconds.

"No." The scar face said while shocking his head. Liam snatched his wrist away from his hold and glared at me.

"I'll ruin you." He said and glanced at the scar face before rushing towards his bike and revving up the engine. He immediately drove away on his bike while I stood there dumbfounded.

He meant it.

He'll ruin me.

What have I done?

The scar face turned around and looked down at me. I said nothing...I didn't even match his eyes and walked past him while slightly bumping in his shoulder.

I immediately ran away from the crowd.

What will happen now?
