It was a big day for Crescent Scarlet Moon, and one that would be remembered for years to come. The royal family was hosting a dinner for all of the prominent families in the kingdom, and it was sure to be a grand affair. Kate’s mom had asked her to help with the preparations, and she was happy to oblige. She knew that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see her favorite princess up close.
Kate went to the kitchen to start on the berry dishes while her mom went to check on the roasted chicken. She was just putting the finishing touches on the dessert when she heard a commotion from the living room. She went to see what was going on and saw that Kyle was running around the room with the sword. Kate’s mom was frantic, and Kate knew that she needed to help her.
