Chapter 46

Narrator’s POV

Duello opened the door for him and he carried her into the suit with a deep frown on his face. He had achieved completely nothing tonight and it was pissing him off, but somehow having her in his arms helped drive his rage away.

He took her to his own room and laid her on the bed while watching her sleep. She was complaining way too much, and suddenly she fell into a faint-like sleep. He knew she must have been scared, and suddenly he felt sorry for leaving the way he did.

He watched her calmly with a little smile on his face at how beautiful and cute she looked while sleeping like a baby. He hated himself for how he was slowly feeling for her, but he knew he couldn’t control the feeling because he was already in too deep.

Taking a deep breath, he pecked her forehead, and then left the room to meet Duello at the living room where he stood waiting for him.
